The walking trees
The great mystics of the woods, the guardians of the forest.
They can be found in the wildest and most untamed regions of the forests,
the males, who are biggest, sometimes growing as large as the trees they love, mostly watch over the larger-scale things, while the ent women, who are much smaller, watch over the little things, such as the flower and the shrubs and seedlings.
Appearance
They resemble tree-ish humanoids covered in moss, lichen, and ivy.
The males are the more violent and mistrusting ones, and are therefore the most dangerous, especially if there are entlings around, while the females are very peaceful and trusting,
All ents are curious in nature, but in the males their suspicions take priority.
Anatomy
They live long and grow slowly, and they usually only raise one entling at a time, since they are energetic creatures full of excitement, and curiosity, and it takes a lot of time and energy to raise one, it takes about seventy years before an entling grows out of childhood. this takes such a long time, and so much energy is also part of the reason the male ents are so protective of their family.
ents are herbivorous, and they feed on any kind of plant matter, although they refuse to eat trees.
