Aethria
This was the final sovereign nation of the grass elves, before they would be permanently absorbed by their bigger and more powerful neighbour.
This was a short-lived kingdom, only surviving a few decades before being invaded
Formation
The idea of a unified grass elven nation was born during the conquest of these lands by the humans, this humiliated the elves, who had always been a proud, independent civilization, but they were on the plains, which the humans dominated. The years of the Eshen Dray had seen much migration into elven lands, but this had only strengthened nationalism, there were a few minor rebellions, but they all failed. When eventually the Drayech weakened, the elves saw their chance, and took it, they knew they could only win together, and thus, they joined the rebellion, just as the nation was plunged into civil war. They fought hard, and won their independence.Internal Struggles
While among elves, the internal unity was strong, there was now a large minority in many border regions, and even in Aenyth, their capitol. In the end, the majority of their territory was incorporated into the enyanian state, while their easternmost lands became a new human nation, the precursor of what is now IsichModern Day
Enyanin still names their part of the plains after this nation, even if they eventually lost the borderlands to the humans, even the Krelland, and its fortress city of Kaerhn, which the grass elves had founded to protect them from exactly such a human invasion. Eanyth, their former capitol, still stands strong as a bastion of grass-elven power, as it is now the third city of Enyanin and one of the most influential, occasionally there are cries for independence from the wood elves, but deep down, the Aethrians know, that independence would be a dangerous path tp take, as the humans would surely go after them, and being a subject of Enyanin is always preferable to being replaced by humans. The Eshen Dray
