Qualifications
- At least seventeen levels in the druid class
- A life long connection to a location on the Prime Material Plane that lies coterminous with the Border regions of all four of The Inner Planes – ideally, from birth.
Requirements
By custom, must be raised from the Archdruid position in a Circle of the Land
Appointment
A ritual ceremony involving the Archdruids of the Circle of the Land.
Responsibilities
Maintaining the balance of the forces exerted by the Elemental Planes on the Material, especially at locations which are coterminus with more than one of them.

Tremendous power over connections to The Inner Planes from the Circle's places of power.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Threatening to unleash a city-destroying amount of lightning in order to kill one or two rebellious druids, apparently.
History
During The War of Flesh and Scale, a newly-raised Archdruid of the Elements used the power that had been granted to her by Nature in an attempt to assert the primacy of Popkin Dragonborn over the island's culture, religion, and people. As a part of the agreement reached at the end of this conflict, the druids retreated from active social and political involvement and the Circle of the Elements became a secret known only to the most experienced druids, with its Archdruid as the only member.
