Tabath

Tabath , The Bloodletter

Worshippers: Murderers, assassins, torturers, dishonorable warriors, vampires   Tabath is the god of murder and blood, whose very name strikes fear into the hearts of common folk. Though open worship of Tabath is rare, it is not unheard of for the name of the Bloodletter to be called upon by those who wish to curse their enemies. Murderers, assassins, torturers, and mercenaries all occasionally offer prayers to this dark deity. Tabath is depicted interchangably as male or female, but if shown in human form usually has blood dripping from the eyes and mouth. It is said Tabath was responsible for the creation of Vampires, as well as for the Red Menace.   Like the rest of the Dark Trinity, Tabath has few ties with the other gods, except perhaps for Kaithon, whose bloodlust in battle may appeal to them. On the other hand, they are often opposed by Harmonious Labreth, due to the chaos and fear they spread through society.

Tenets of Faith

Only when one is about to engage in an act of violence, murder, or torture, would one pray to the Bloodletter. In a violent world, however, this is more common than some might suspect. What little clergy their is dedicated to Tabath sometimes operate as the head of assassin's guilds, torturers, or within mercenary groups with few morals.
