The Timelocked Tower

The Red & Black arrived at the mysterious Timelocked Tower, recently occupied by the Horncackle Hag Coven. The Hags soon laid dead and the heroes in control of a flying castle keep.

With the guidance of Feno and his companions, the R&B arrived at the ancient mage tower that is the supposed new home of the Hags. A faint, shimmering sphere of strange energy surrounded the small keep, which now stood atop an 'apple core' of stone and earth in the center of a massive crater. The keep seemed to be contained within a slow-motion magical explosion. One that slowly, but inexorably, disintegrated anything within its area of effect.   Cleverly using teleportation magic to both avoid the explosion and circumvent the re-routing of teleportation attempts, the R&B entered the keep's lower, once-subterranean levels. The entire interior of the keep seemed unphased by the passing of a millennia... until touched or interacted with, causing people and objects to rapidly 'catch-up' and age 1,000 years in a matter of seconds.   Dispatching monstrous guards and time-tortured spirits, the party eventually found the Hags amidst some sort of eldritch ritual, but were unable to stop them from completing a portion of it... the portion that caused the keep, and the earthen outcropping on which it sits, to rise into the air! After a bloody battle, the Hags were defeated, their curse on the R&B lifted and the Hag's new flying home under their control!
