Mana
Magical Energy
Mana is the common term for magical energy, but there are many names for it, magical energy, Thaumic charge, the power, and many more.
Mana is the term for usable magical energy, either by mages, or magical technology.
Ambient Energy
In nature, magical energy flows through the universe, and it stops at living creatures, where it pools up and sticks around for a little while. This is the natural way for mages to gain access to magic.
They just use their internal mana supply, until it runs out, and then wait for it to replenish. Howver, there are ways to regain your mana supply faster.
Mana Flasks
Mana flasks are what you would call mana storage devices, there are several materials that are able to store mana, with different levels of efficiency.
Acid Flasks
The most efficient mana storage mediums are the two types of Kralic Acid. Superkralic acid being by far the best.
However, these are not usually used by mages because they are dangerous. Both acids need to be kept at low temperatures, superkralic acid at extremely low temperatures, to remain solid crystals that can store mana. And if this cooling fails, they could easily kill the mage.
Understandible, this is far too dangerous, so these types of storage are only used for machines, and bulk storage nodes, which are present at the bases of many magical organizations.
Quartz Flasks
Kyskedic quartz is very stable and very safe. They don't store as much or as efficiently as kralic acids, but they are still very capable storage mediums. However, it is also very expensive, still, this is the most desired for mage's internal mana flasks.
Kolyndite Flasks
Kolydite is a bond of Karyndium and Koldar, and it is very tough, extremely resistant, and unreactive. It also blocks the flow of mana, which is why it is able to trap mana inside, it it is made into a closed flask, or orb. If there is even the tiniest hole in the type device, it will leak and be useless.
This may not be the most efficient way of storing mana, but it is very safe, and quite affordable.
It is safe, until a mage tries to overload a flask, if this happens, it will blow up.
Flask Usage
Flasks can be charged and drained by mages as long as they are nearby, but for the use of cybernetics, they are often implanted into the body instead, and hooked up to the mages internal cybermagic circuitry. This makes draining and filling it much faster and easier.
As for Kolydite flasks, Mages are able to transport mana in and out of them, even if mana can't enter or leave them by itself.
Mana Generators
There are different ways for mana to be generated, some of these generators can create mana usable by mages, and others not so much.
Kryndilite Generators
Kryndilite is a type of Krustillium compound, it forms crystals that are able to transform electrical energy into magical energy, but not the kind that is usable by mages. If they were to try, they would find it extremely uncomfortable if not painful, and eventually, they would fall very ill.
This is because Kryndilite mana is impure and unstable, fine for most machines, but not for people.
Purple Reactors
Purple Krustillium is purple solid, when it ignites, it burns violently, exploding if there is enough oxygen present, erupting in purple flames and dense purple smoke. The krustillium atoms are transformed into pure magical energy, usable by mages.
However, if they aren't careful, they can take in more than is good for them, and burn themselves out, permanently damaging their ability to store magic inside of themselves.
This only really happens if it is used in the field though, mages can carry purple krustillium with them to resupply themselves quickly, however, the energy is also usably by their enemies, so its not really used in mage on mage combat.
Reactors that burn the stuff safely are large and bulky, and very much not portable. People have tried making internal Purple Krustillium reactors, but they are small, and not capable of containing the large amounts of energy release, which usually ended in the mage blowing up.

Mana Reach
Mana reach is a magical technique used by many mages. This allows them to quickly restore their internal mana supply using ambient mana. This ability is limited only by the amount of ambient mana present in any given location.
When mana is drained from a location, it takes a few hours for it to replenish, an in that time, it will not naturally recharge the internal supply of any mages in the area.
When two mages are fighting, an area can be drained quickly, and later, mages can detect by the state of the area, how long ago the fight must have been. This is because mages can learn to sense the ambient mana field, and disturbances within it.
