The founders and the Carthian Movement as well as local Kindred wage a war against the Pater Curant for its independence.
A cabal of mages approaches the founders of the new Shadow Republic with an offer; Grant them a large amount of vitae and in return, the mages will lend their aid to the independence cause. The mages uses the Vitae to transform themselves into Kindred and lends their Blood Magic to the cause, in the eyes of many turning the tide.
The war for freedom is won. Carthian Movement, Lancea et Sanctum and Ordo Dracul leaders all sign a declaration of intent to uphold the Shadow Republic .

As a result of the Civil War, a great migration wave washes over the city, with many new Kindred arriving along with them. The Circle of the Crone establishes itself in the Shadow Republic .
Impressed by the first World Fair, the kindred of the Shadow Republic form the Curators' Council to arrange a Grand Exhibition. It becomes a traditional event, taking place every 15 years in which Kindred display their greatest works of art or curious pieces of culture and history.
In the midst of the chaos of the Great Migration, Covenants increasingly gain power and, in a bid to institute order, the Law of the Covenants is signed into law.
Four Covenants are recognized; Carthian Movement, Lancea et Sanctum, Ordo Dracul and Circle of the Crone.
A rash of murders of kindred across the city turns out to be an assault by highly organized hunters, calling themselves the Knights of the Blood. They are defeated through a united show of force, with the Department of War cashing in the majority of the Shadow Republic's Markers to effectuate it.
In the aftermath of the Red Summer, the Lancea et Sanctum wages war with Ordo Dracul and the Circle of the Crone. The Carthian Movement fails to calm the waters.
Having long kept itself secret, working to emerge within the Shadow Republic, the Covenant War prompts the Invictus to reveal themselves, their calls for order and law attracting many new members.
They are recognized as a Covenant and are instrumental in ending the Covenant War in 1924.
A Court of Strix makes an attack on the Shadow Republic, with many recognized Kindred fighting on the Strix's side - Either as collaborators or possessed, which is never made clear. The Court is eventually defeated, though doing so required forging unpleasant alliances with both Garou and Mages, resulting in the establishment of the Enclave and the Hunting Park Neighborhood Dependency.
A hunt for Strix infiltrators perpetrate the Shadow Republic. Especially members of the Circle of the Crone are targeted, often hauled out into the streets and burned alive by vigilantes.
An investigation by the Post-Master General reveals that the Attorney General was an infiltrator from the Old World's newly reborn Camarilla, responsible for whipping up fear of the Strix. The Attorney General flees.
What appears to be a repeat of Red Summer turns out to be a Strix ploy, utilizing kine hunters as their weapons. The majority of deaths take place in 1982, but the complete expulsion of hunters didn't complete until 1984. The responsible Strix is never caught.
Peace is achieved with the Camarilla, as an Embassy is established within the Shadow Republic itself.
Six senators, four cabinet members, and two congressmen, as well as a host of upstanding Kindred, are killed by VII assassins. Their neonates attack seemingly random kindred across the Shadow Republic.
While the assassins are caught, their motivations are never revealed.
Elections for both Senate and President.
The elections are spread out over the year, with Senate Elections on All Hallow's Even and Presidential on New Year's Eve.
The Curators' Council is planning another Grand Exhibition, with invitations drawing visitors from far and wide.
