Irene is an Iberian Inquisitor and a student of High Inquisitor Dario. She is well-versed in Iberia’s history, laws, and human geography. She sought out the Pillar of Dawn after an encounter with Elite Operator Skadi when she was on a "rogue" mission in Iberia. This mission has been filed as "The Under Tide Event". Months after the mission ended, she came to the Pillar of Dawn with Kal'tsit's personal recommendation. She signed a cooperation agreement with us, as one of the first Inquisition Messengers, in order to prepare for the threats of the sea. All of Irene's files were personally handled by Kal'tsit herself, and she was quickly registered as a reserve operator without going through much of the steps the process normally entailed. This was necessary due to her circumstances and her "companion/prisoner", which she demanded to stay with her. Outside of operations, however, Irene continues to live alongside other Operators and proactively studies tactics, a subject which she has yet to master. She is stricter in upholding the Pillar of Dawn's rules, and she spends all her downtime either in the training room or studying history and technology on the library. Occasionally, she muses that it reminds her of her time as an apprentice. Everything that Irene is doing follows through with her belief: 'It's not my identity that determines who I am. It's what I do that does.' She may seem overly serious and taciturn, but Irene isn't one to refuse the friendship of others. Without fail, she offers aid to those who seek her help, and she unreservedly recommends her favorite Iberian Golden Age music to music enthusiasts.Irene may not fully understand the impact of her faith, nor the risk she is taking in pursuit of her current path. She fears that she will branded a traitor. However, she will make her mentor, Inquisitor Dario, extremely proud of road she is walking now and perhaps all of the world will owe without ever knowing it.

Light forth our way, ye lantern ward!Ever since the day she was rescued by Dario the High Inquisitor following a natural disaster that wiped out her hometown, Irene was destined to become an Inquisitor thanks to her zealous faith. As Dario's young disciple, she earnestly learnt his path so that she could become a perfect Inquisitor just like him. With her lantern, her saber, and her hand cannon, she was ready to defend Iberia's last pride against the ultimate evil of the shore ― the Seaborn. On the other hand, her blind justice sometimes led to the opposite results such as her unnecessary suspicion against the Islanders. Yet the girl never gave up in learning her maestro's way. The evacuation of Sal Viento and the relief effort was the turning point in Irene's life. She witnessed the diststain of the people toward the Inquisitor, its failures, and during this time she had worked together with many Aegirs for the first time such as Jordi and the Abyssal Hunters to fight against their common enemy. Finally at near the end she meet with Highmore who shattered her current beliefs and forced her into an impossible deal for any other Inquisitor. After the incident, Irene resigned from her position but joined Pillar of Dawn as an Inquisition Messenger to carry on her own justice. Many Iberians, especially the Islanders, remain suspicious of her, but Irene will prove herself a changed person who wants to help mend the wound between them. Her extreme dedication to her training was such that she at times has a tendency to over-train herself trying to push away the fears and pressure on her to find a way to make sense of her choices and current goals.
