Telepathy

Telepathy is the ability to read another person's thoughts, communicate with another person mind to mind, and to manipulate and even control their thoughts. Found among demons, half demons, Sidhe, and witches.

Effect

Hearing a target's thoughts and seeing their memories in your mind.

Side/Secondary Effects

Headaches and nosebleeds are common symptoms of inexperienced telepaths, or when trying to invade the mind of someone who is particularly strong willed or resistant.

Gestures & Ritual

Inexperienced telepaths often need to make a physical connection to their target to enter their mind, often by placing their hands on either side of the target's temples.

Range

Inexperienced telepaths need to be within touching distance. Most other telepaths can only wield the power within twenty metres or so of themselves. Only the most powerful telepaths can extend their power beyond their line of sight.

Applied Restriction

Amulets, talismans, and sigils exist and may be worn to prevent telepathy, and there are protective wards to shield an entire area from telepathy.
