Half Demon
Half demons are the children of the union between a demon (usually a Succubus or Incubus) and a human. They possess one specific demon power of their demon parent, usually the power their parent was strongest in or the power that they used most often.
Half demon children of Succubi are more powerful than children of Incubi, because the child grows in the womb of the demon for 9 months, getting more exposure to the demonic energy and power. A half demon's magical strength also depends on the hierarchical level of their demon parent - children of the Princes of Hell are far more powerful than children of Soldiers of Hell.
Less powerful demons have more children on earth - the more powerful and higher in the demonic hierarchy a demon is, the less children they will sire. It is rare for more than one child of a Prince of Hell to be born per generation, if that. For example Astaroth has not sired a demon child in over one hundred years.
Half demons are not born evil - their moral disposition is the same as any other human, and they only begin manifesting their powers with the onset of puberty.

- Tempestum (pl Tempesti) - can conjure low level storms
- Motusum (pl Motusi) - telekinesis
- Imperitus (pl Imperiti) - telepathy/mind control
- Lacasum (pl Lacusi) - teleportation
- Fulgurum (pl Fulguri) - electrokinesis
- Praesidum (pl Praesidi) - impervious to harm, the power must be consciously activated.
- Temporo (pl Tempori) - time manipulation (children of Princes/Dukes/Lords only)
- Oraculum (pl Oraculi) - prophesy (children of Princes/Dukes/Lords only)
- Mortem (pl Mortemi) - death inducement (children of Princes only)
- Mutatio (pl Mutati) - reality manipulation, manifests as being able to shape change inanimate objects, and to shape change themselves into inanimate objects (children of Princes only)
Basic Information
Anatomy
Half demons look like ordinary humans. They carry no physical trace of their demonic ancestry - no red eyes, horns, tails, etc.
Genetics and Reproduction
A half demon's powers are passed down to their children, but get weaker with each generation (as opposed to stronger, like witches), as the demon blood gets more and more diluted with human blood. Usually after three or four generations, the powers disappear entirely.
Some half demons have been known to procreate only with other half demons, and their children doing the same, ad infinitum, thus preserving their powers and creating their own half demon family line. These family lines become known as Demi Demons. A Demi Demon's power is derived from their strongest parent e.g. if their parents are a Temporo son of a Prince and a Motusum daughter of a Soldier, the demi demon will inherit the stronger time manipulation power, and pass this power to his own children.
Demons who sire children with earthly supernaturals will result in a hybrid child with powers from both their supernatural parent and their demonic parent. This could result in a telekinetic werewolf, a witch who can stop time, a shapeshifter who can shoot lightning, etc.
