Elf
E lves in the early days where akin to the Fey. They lived in small family groups in deep woods and where very in tune with nature. After The Death of the Earth Spirit and the shattering of the world, the elves changed. Much of their beloved nature was gone. Their patron was gone. Vengeance became their new quest. The Elves are largely responsible for the formation of the Dragon Hunters Guild. They have become a blunt, brutal people, where the strongest lead, disputes are settled with personal combat, and above all the Earth Mother is still revered."Elves... we be an ngry folk. Don't yah be instalt'in an elf less yah be prepared ta kill or be kilt. We be a strong folk, en quite smart ta boot. Em humans may be inventive, but tits elf hands tat do da real build'in. Additional Information
Social Structure
Elven social structure is fairly simple. They live in clan groups with each clan controlling a piece of territory. They are led by the fittest warrior until his death (normally of natural causes) at which point a melee is organized with the last standing becoming the new chieftain.
At higher levels, there is a council of chiefs that meet at a neutral sacred location. The chiefs debate the issues and cast (literally throw) their Mark either to a designated yes or no location or to the feet of the chieftain they support. The Mark can be cast at any time during an argument, however once cast it can not be taken back or changed. Argument continues until all chieftains have cast their Marks.

Facial characteristics
Elves are a beautiful people, especially when young. This is where there close relations with the Fey show most.
Average Intelligence
Elves are highly intelligent producing some of the best tradesmen and healers in Errota. While this may seam at odds with the more brutal aspects of their culture, it is always wise for one to know when to fight, and when not to fight. The elves seem to have found this balance with the other races of the world.
Civilization and Culture
Beauty Ideals
Elves, especial male elves, tell the story of their greatest accomplishments in tattoos. Tattoos are common in both genders; but tend to be smaller, and more intricate on females.
Courtship Ideals
Elves do not court per se... When an elf comes of age, he goes to the house of the maiden he favors (she must also be of age). There he fights her eldest brother (if he is of age) or her father. If they submit, he may enter the house and carry his bride home. If he should be forced to submit, or should he lack the stamina to carry her to his threshold, he must return home and spend 5 years in shame before he may attempt to marry again.
Common Dress Code
Elves tend to wear only what is necessary for modesty. What does that mean you ask? Well it depends on the particular clan, but you can reasonably assume only one layer, often appearing similar in nature to under garments in other cultures. Elves tend to prefer natural fibers and leather, however will wear chain and plate when appropriate.
History
After the shattering the elves where the first to develop airships. They found they could use the leaves of the ropewood trees to lift a carriage into the sky. This carriage was then propelled through the sky by billowmen. They worked below deck pumping large billows that all routed though a single exhaust at the rear of the ship. The elves would use this method of travel for years during which they became feared raiders across the isles.
