The Forgefathers

Culminated from members of some of the oldest and most seasoned dwarven craftsmen families in the underground, the Forgefathers are a group named after and inspired by an old dwarven fable's cast of eclectic smiths. The original Forgefathers from literature were used in many a story throughout history, characters that almost were just as much archetypes that could be applied in many tales.

The same timeless dedication to tradition and working with metal, stone, and flame drives the Forgefathers of today, who take up this inspiration to represent the council members that represent the dwarven population of Darkhold. Dwarves were responsible for a lot of the procuring, preparing, and constructing of many of the features of infrastructure and buildings within Darkhold. Taking a note from their experience crafting their own home Gorinzan, they made for experts in this regard. Dwarves are also the most prominent owners and operators of businesses throughout the city, many of them long standing foundations that have been run by generations of dwarven family. It is important to cherish and retain this legacy and ensure Darkhold remains a place to be proud of, thus the Forgefathers advocate for policy and practice that emulates these visions.
