Demographics

There are about 15 million students in the town, about 5 million faculty and staff for the University and about 5 million who support the area infrastructure.

Government

The University owns the land as it received it as a land grant during early colonization. The univeristy provides all governmental services. It is lead by a President, supported by several vice presidents for various organizational systems pertaining to the university and education along with the infrastructure to support and maintain the area.

The inhabitants in the are support the university in some form or another.

Buildings vary from early settlement structures to more modern ones built as the university grew and prospered.

Districts

There are three main districts on the near island forming the land bridge. One is campus town comprising the educational and living facilities for the students. Second is the living areas for the university staff. Third is for visitors, tourists, and non-direct university employees supplying the needs of such a large city, for instance, food and entertainment.

Assets

The university itself owns all the land and structures within the boundaries of the landbridge. Facilities are rented to individuals or corporations that live or do business within the area.

History

Formed during the colonization of Rehn, the University has become the top university for governmental and military studies. Situated near the center of the cluster, it draws students from all over.

Points of interest

There are several buildings that are said to be among the original structures built for the university. Not wanting to dispell the mystery, the university does not directly condone or advertise them as original, but has not taken any steps to verify that information. Other points of interest are the Choir Hall, the Student Union, and the statues and monuments to various famous graduates.
