Festival of Restoration

The Festival of Restoration occurs each year, and is a time when the villages gather together to celebrate, and share their resources, craft, and labor with each other.
In the month or so leading up to the Restoration, residents will travel to one (or sometimes both) of the other villages and share their resources or labor. Leading up to the Restoration, residents of The Valley will gather at one village . The Restoration itself ends with 3 days in one of the villages. The first day the residents usually make a huge effort to do a major project. Such as building an entire house, or repairing a large section of the paths. (Though in practice, depending on the project, some work is often done leading up to this). The following day are celebrations, sharing meals, song and dance, and often with elders acknowledging milestones in the lives of residents. Such as births, or completions of apprenticships. The final day the residents rest, and is often full of reflection.
