Historical Event: War of Colonization

The War of Colonization occurred between GS2198 and GS2203. The Krasian Meritocracy, having just stabilized its control over their borders, mounted a massive military effort to expand their borders into the unclaimed Rim. They identified a strategic location with valuable resources filled with needed ores and Utopia to aid in their future growth. They successfully drove the series of Miners, Pirates, Colonists, typically Shippers and Rimmers alike, back out of the collection of systems.
They were eventually held back in the Hersperus Nebula by a combined effort from multiple Rimmer entities. This was added by the combined pressure from the Allied Terran Systems and The Versian Binderate to their northern borders. Though they proved victorious in the Nebula, their armada was damaged to the point of halting their further expansion. Besides some smaller incursion efforts, such as the raid on the Star Forge, their military conquest was halted.
