Bochi Macam "Ashen Womb"

Bochi Macam comes from the root of two of the predecessor languages for Galactic Common. The old meaning seems to be "graveyard" and seems as fit an interpretation as any for the dead, ashen planet. The surface of the planet seems to be permanently encrusted with a layer of thick, black ash at least 10ft deep. Its nickname, the Ashen Womb, stems from the belief of the The Versian Binderate. The planet has become a graveyard for the Dishonored and Low-Born and is seen as an opportunity for the souls of the dishonored to redeem themselves in the Ash. No fauna has ever been known to live on the Ashen Womb, but the massive tree known as the Fraxinash covers a city-wide swatch of terrain with several sproutlings rooted beneath its desolate foliage.   It is the belief of the Versian culture that the souls of those buried in the Ash may find their way into the tree's roots and be reborn into the air to escape their ashen tomb. It is seen as a ceremony of purification for the soul of the deceased and a way for even the most dishonorable to find redemption, eventually, in their afterlife.

Fauna & Flora

The Fraxinash is the only active growth ever seen on the planet. Though multiple trees are seen across the planet, it is believed that all came from the largest and most notable tree. They are all treated as one entity and with respect as it serves a very specific purpose of post-mortem redemption in the Binderate that even the most lost are not lost forever.
