Rao Legislature

The Rao Legislature is one of the three branches of government located in The Capitol. It's chambers are physically located within Fort Marshope. The primary purpose of this branch is to create the laws of Bollothglade, and as such the many members of its congress propose and vote on said laws within the chambers.
Three of the most prominent members of congress are the heads of the shard-level political parties. 
The first is Urrezz Iya She is the leader of the Social Prosperity Party . Formally called the Yorkett Party, as that is the original druidic name for 'bountiful land' it had to change its name on the outset of The Fracturing of the Shards. The party's platform is centered around public welfare especially to those disenfranchised by society. They have become particularly active in Quarters as the massive increase in wealth inequality has happened and the wage divide and gotten wider with the advent of industrialization and Low Magic Crystals production.

The second is Wedgrat Bonebranch. He is the leader of the Abundance Party. The abundance party is one of the oldest political groups in The United Shard and can trace its roots all the way back to the original settlers from The The Outside Powers. The party focuses on small government with the idea that allowing people to maximally prosper on their own will raise the tides for all people. They are pro-industry and see the rise of the Low Magic Crystals as proof of their beliefs.

the third is Briar Garrum. He is the leader of the Red Bloom Party  The party was started during The Fracturing of the Shards. Their approach is to support the war on all fronts and push for the use of drafts and rationings, and do not believe citizens are currently doing enough to guarantee their freedom from Yorkett.
