The History of The Unisphere so far
The Aegans were the ancient race. Originally an alt-earth timeline of elves that developed space ship technology in 1492. They eventually colonized their solar system but never found the means to go farther until 1717-ish. But that was the year of their calamity. That year the very source of the means to travel beyond awoke an ancient celestial kajiu that destroyed their system.
Signs of their civilization are in ruins and rubble scattered across the system, now warped and twisted by the calamity.
Current Species & Cultures
Present day the main race that lives are the Feerin, an offshoot of the Aegans that were mutated/warped after the calamity, gaining animal-like traits and appearances. They are presently at medieval-level technology, with some minor magic available to them. Some pockets have attained steampunk-esque technology, and even smaller pockets have discovered Aegan technology and have learned to use it properly.
