Mance O'Mali, the tyrant king, the mad king... There were rumors that he used to be a shy, kind-hearted individual, but something caused him to change and develop an insatiable thirst for power and fame. Mance was the reason the Hollow appeared on Raxodin, it's thanks to him that it's such a problem now when it would've been slumbering untouched on Althasi. How though? Up until the very bitter end for him, he kept claiming that he was trying to save the world from a greater evil than what he made himself appear as. Perhaps his original intentions were pure, but when he became infected, he lost his mind.
He's not here to ask anymore, and the task of guarding the Unisphere falls to me now.
