Description

Originally just a human, any traces of his humanity and original heritage have long since disappeared. After years of being trapped on the Plane of Shadow, tortured and experimented on, has mutated and transformed him into something else. Something he believes is his true self and form.
Thin and wiry, his size hides his strength and power. Stark white and pale-skinned, his hair, long and darker than the blackest of nights, his eyes, a dark void, save for the irises that glow a dull hue of yellow, and most interestingly, his blood is now a thick blue substance.
Dresses in light armor and clothing to allow him full mobility to make the best use of his strength and quickness. The clothes he does wear are masterfully tailored from the finest materials but almost always dull and muted colors.

Personality

Well-spoken, respectful, and very confident, carries themself as a true professional and with the pride of nobility, although has an extremely cold demeanor, and rarely shows emotions. Years of solitude, torture, and experimentation performed on him though has not broken his spirit. Contrary to his outward appearance, is rather easygoing and friendly. Believes challenges and hardships shape a person and show who they truly are.

A child prodigy with magic and extreamly skilled with a sword and martial prowess. Self Taught and a very powerful Magus. 11th level Arcane Caster, Fighter, Rogue Hybrid - Self-Tought Magus. Abilities of an Assassin and Shadowdancer.

Focuses more on martial prowess, stealth, and quick efficient strikes. Uses prepared spells defensively or to enhance his weapons. Otherwise does not rely on ranged casting or flashy shows of power

Personal History

Nelos was a Human, one of the few remaining Pureblooded Netherese, born into nobility, his heritage was that of kings. His family's bloodline possessed some of the strongest spellcasters and the land's greatest swordsman. Nelos was adept at both swordplay and wizardry, weaving them together, combining magic and metal as one. He became one of the first of the Magus.
In his quest for knowledge and power, always looking for a worthy challenge and new ways to hone his skills, he had become trapped within the Plane of Shadow. Stranded and alone in this dreadful plane many would have died, but Nelos actually thrived, he found comfort in the darkness. It wasn't long though before he was captured by one of the dark societies that existed in the realm, curious about this human child that survived for so long on his own within the plane they started torturing and experimenting on him. Through these experiments, he was transformed, mutated into a new thing. His blood was now thick and blue, and later to be discovered as toxic to many creatures. His eyes turned black, save for the glowing dark yellow iris, this granted him enhanced and keen eyesight and allowed for perfect vision in complete darkness, even magical darkness. His flesh turned pale and white, while his hair became as black as night. These changes granted him many additional powers and abilities, many of which he used to escape and kill his captors, fleeing into the dark abyss that is the Plane of Shadows once more.
His skills and reputation growing, he had become infamous with one of the many Umbral Courts in the plane. He was recruited into service by the Raven Queens Court, a Cult of Drow Fetchlings, as an assasin. Not long after joining the Court he met a Raven Priestess, Stephanie Balthrea, a Witch succefully posing as a Cleric. They both had ambitious goals, he wanted to become the next Raven King, and she wanted to be a High Priestess, a leader in the court, a Queen. Years passed as the two grew closer and she revealed her secrets to him, he secret research into the Lost Realm and he deceptions to the Court. He started helping her researching the realm and joining her on expeditions outside the court, adventures under the guise of official court buisness. Their prestigue growing in the organization, they quickly rose within the ranks. Though they kept their relationship a secret, Stephanies deception was discovered, the court uncovered that she was not a true priestess of their God and infact just a Witch posing as one. She was imprisoned and set to be executed before the court and High Priestess the next night. Nelos freed her and together they escaped the Court, together they fully dedicated their time to finding her Lost Realm while being hunted by the court.
