Alfenstria
An ancient elven capital city, Alfenstira sits amid the Feyfire Forest in Scaelor. Abandoned by the elves when they departed the Borrovyan continent during to the Great Divide, the city became overridden with drow, and was the site of one of the most vicious conflicts between two elven races upon their return from the eastern Sovyrian continent. Taking considerable losses from the drow's evil tactics, the elves once again settled the city, and it remains as powerful as it is forbidden to this day.
The elves of the Feyfire Forest strictly prohibit outsiders from entering the city, under the guise of wanting to preserve it as a refuge from the rest of the world, but those more familiar with the region sense that the elves are keeping something of great importance in the city.

Government
The city of Alfenstira has been ruled by the Elsys family for over a thousand years, after they lead their forces against the drow upon their return in the year 1776 AM. They hold absolute power in the city. The current ruler is Thandurion Elsys. As of late it seems that due to pressure from his subjects, Thandurion has had to give in to some of the demands from the fanatical organization known as the Silvestra Numina.
Defences
The city of Alfenstria is heavily protected, not just by a surrounding wall but by the forest itself. The enormous trees of the Feyfire Forest and its many dangers keep the city hidden and protected from most would-be invaders. Even the kings of Scaelor have deemed it a futile endeavour to try and start hostilities with the dwellers of the Feyfire Forest.
