Kholo Tribes of Muspel
As a general rule, a tribe considers itself to be either "gnoll" or "kholo," depending on their history and personal identity. The former tend towards what most would consider to be a typical given name followed by their tribe name, while the latter prefer the descriptive Mwangi-style kholo names.
Longstrider Tribe
The Longstriders are a nomadic clan that roam Muspel, with no permanent home. They account themselves as direct descendants of one of the original Nine and Ninety Tribes, whose Gift was an unrivaled endurance, and whose Curse was a wanderlust that would keep them from ever finding a true home. The current generation of Longstriders don't necessarily consider their Curse to be a bad thing.

Sandfury Tribe
The Sandfuries live in the deepest reaches of Muspel, around a cavern into which an underground spring feeds an oasis. They are a relatively young tribe, but formed from members of others who descend from the Nine and Ninety. They believe their Gift to be that they can never be forced out of their true home, and their Curse to be an eternal lust/hunger; a desire that can never be fulfilled.
The Sandfury tribe make their trade as a waystop for travelers across the desert, where they provide simple tent shelters, and plentiful water. Since they know that their territory would be a tempting acquisition for other, more aggressive groups, they maintain a large guard force and strong sandstone walls.
