Description

The Guardian of Baltia is an ancient undead human who protects the mythical island of Baltia. After defeating the previous guardian he was drawn in to protecting this place for all time as punishment by the Dark Gods.

Ideals

Baltia is everything and nothing can leave without a price.

The Amber is to be protected at all costs.

Flaws

Suggested Environments

The mythical island of Baltia.


Amber Warp. The Guardian can move from one area of Amber to another as an Action instead of making an attack. It is instantaneous and costs half his movement.   Amber Sense. Any Amber within 5 feet of the Guardian allows him to view anything within 30 feet of it.   Undead Nature. The Guardian doesn't need food, drink, air, or sleep.   Magic Resistance. The Guardian gains advantage against all magic or magical effects that he is targeted with.   Regeneration. When inside the caves, the Guardian regenerates 4 1d8 Hit Points at the start of his turn. When on the outside this doesn't work, or when starting his tur with 0 Hit Points.   Death Mark. If a creature of suitable fashion (usually a humanoid or similar) kills the Guardian, or involved in the killing, they have to make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw with disadvantage or be trapped on the island becoming the new Guardian. There is nothing short of a Wish spell that can break this.

Actions

Multiattack. The Guardian makes three attacks with his battleaxe, fists or combination of these.   Amber Battle Axe. Melee Weapon Attack +7 to hit, range 5 ft, one target. Hit 18 2d12+5 slashing damage plus 7 2d6 necrotic damage.   Fists. Melee Weapon Attack +7 to hit, range 5 ft, one target. Hit 10 1d10+5 bludgeoning damage plus 7 2d6 necrotic damage.
