Coptic Christian

The Copts are and their traditions were first introduced to Egypt around 42 AD and were noticeable in the region about 200 AD. They use the most texts of the Bible at 53 books of it, compared to 47 for the Catholic versions. They are found primarily in Egypt, the Sudan and to a lesser degree in what is modern Libya. They have been persecuted and tolerated by the Muslim majority on and off for the past 150 to 200 years, depending on any number off events (ranging from the Egyptian government, to being blamed for natural disasters for example).
