Life, Birth
Paolo Garcia is one of the few babies born the "old-fashioned" way of having gestated in a woman's uterus for nine months before birth, and thus have a bellybutton.
The maternity wards in the Coalition had mostly been filled with artificial wombs at this time, though they kept on midwives and other medical personnel who knew the old way, for the event that people still did it that way. Thus, the delivery room part of the ward felt empty and bare when Paolo's mother delivered him. Apart from the rarity of giving birth this way the event was without incident or any complications.
