Daffodil Armaments buys the Clear Corporation

The Clear Corporation stock prizes plummeted the day after the launch of the Clear Negotiator, as a result of the thousands of deaths that happened immediately after. Daffodil Armaments took advantage of this and got a chair holder majority, effectively buying the Clear Corporation.

Mere hours after her marriage to Alexander Daffodil, Jeremiah's daughter, Crystal, executed her vengeance against her father, by helping her new husband buy her father's company. This came as a hard blow to Jeremiah since he'd planned to buy Daffodil Armaments, but then to have his daughter turn on him like that. He was mostly oblivious of the resentment she'd built against him.

She, of course, was upset that he named her Crystal Clear, that he arranged marriage in the first place, – even though she developed an understanding with her husband in their mutual hatred of Jeremiah. – Crystal was also upset that Jeremiah bribed the Judge at the trial of Dave Keller so that Dave would get sentenced to death, and thus get rid of the father of her illegitimate child. The last straw, for Crystal, was that Jeremiah abducted her newborn son, the night before the wedding, brought him into the woods north of the Space Port and drowned the baby in the stream.
