That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.

Having set up so they could watch television broadcasts in the Procrustes cargo hold, one of the things they watched was the moon landing.


Earth humans Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first in several thousand years, from Earth, to travel to and land on another world. That's something, even if they "only" traveled as far as Earth's moon. They didn't know that many ancient civilizations from Earth already left the planet and colonized the galaxy millennia earlier.

Dave Keller and the rest of the Procrustes crew got to watch the event from the comfort... ish... of the ship's cargo hold.
