Tunic Item in The Trident Coalition | World Anvil

Tunic

A piece of clothing worn by some teenage boys in the Coalition. It's a short-sleeved shirt that reaches halfway down their thighs, like a very long T-shirt.

The modern tunic is made of cotton and comes in many colors, though white tends to be dominant. A large majority get a tunic as a present on their fifteenth birthday. They may even get several, as their friends give them tunics for birthday presents. The idea is that they will then wear a tunic, with no underwear, when they go into town for their Age of Consent Ritual as their peers dare them to go like that, and to put extra pressure on them, the peers accompany them, dressed the same way.
