Treel
Treel are a highly intelligent humanoid species, especially compared to Humans of Earth origin.
They are a single gender species, where each individiual has reproductive organs both for carrying babies and for impregnating other individuals of their species. They can have Human/Treel hybrid children if the human impregnates the Treel, but a human female could not carry a hybrid to term. Humans sometimes mistakenly refers to Treel as "Hermaphrodites," though they should definitely not do that, it's offensive. Their physique is similar to a human male, except they're a very dark bronze color, and they have ten nipples distributed in two rows on their abs and pecs.
Treel have life spans that far exceeds that of humans, where their average life is eight centuries, while some have lived for over a millennium.
The Treel orginate in another galaxy, on the far side of Laniakea, the galaxy supercluster that the Milky Way Galaxy is part of. They invented the Space Folder and provided ancient human civilizations with the technology because they didn't know humans well enough to realize it probably wasn't a good idea. They were wise enough, however, to make sure that the Folders humans used only had the capability for interstellar travel, and not between galaxies like the Treel folders did.
A few thousand Treel still remain among humans, as they enjoy our company, and are curious about our idiosyncrasies.
Some bigoted humans sometimes use the word "Slug" as a slur against Treel. Do not do this! It's as bad as the N-word.
