Southern Promenade

The Southern Promenade on the main island of Semele City is a boardwalk along a bay on the southern side of the island.

The boardwalk is about three meters wide, and is lined with bars, shops, restaurants, nightclubs, brothels and a small casino, on the land side. Multiple jetties lead out into the water, accessible from the boardwalk by steps leading down them. There’s a clear view to the next island, where there’s an identical boardwalk, with more bars and restaurants, etc. Holograms in gaudy colors in the style of old neon signs light up the boardwalk from above and from the front of the businesses. At night there’s also thousands of paper lanterns that light up the boardwalk. Loud music stream from most businesses, with bass beats that you feel just as much as you hear them as you pass the businesses it comes from.
