Rachel Wienerbacher
Rachel is a sturdy, no nonsense, both feet on the ground, woman who grew up in and lived her whole life in Myrtle’s Beach.
She’s an influential woman who inspires respect from the community, though she’s never been very ambitious. She started off her career as PE teacher at Hercules Thompson High School and was content to stay in the job for the rest of her career, but a couple of years later the principal retired and she was asked to step in until they could find someone more qualified to take the position permanently. There was nobody more qualified, and the next semester she was made the official, permanent principal.
In 2952 she was asked to run for Mayor, against the incumbent, who was a reactionary asshat who was set in his ways and was only Mayor because he never had any opposition in the elections. Rachel almost said no to campaigning, but the incumbent made his career’s biggest blunder, he pissed her off with a chauvinistic attac ad, but worst of all, he proposed cutting funds to the high school. She ran against him and won in a landslide.
Rachel is extremely good with names, and remembers the name of almost all the students at the school.
