Elves are tall humanoids, and are indeed genetically compatible with humans. However they live much longer than humans, being functionally immortal.

Early earth Renaissance. Excellent architecture, fascinating and well executed art, fine-twined clothing.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

These definitely happen, and Elves can produce children with humans. However half-elves are rarely held in good standing with full elves. Elves regard full humans as useful allies on the short term, which is the entire lifespan of a human, from an elf's perspective. They have little to no use for halflings, indeed rarely consider them at all. As for the evil species, they generally shoot on sight.
