Savage Land

The Savage Land is an artificially created tropical biome located within an energy barrier in the Palmer Peninsula of Antarctica.

It was created by the High Evolutionary, one of the Elders of the Universe, using advanced alien technology. He seeded the biome with single celled organisms native to Earth, using his technology to artificially evolve these organisms into a variety of plant and animal species.

The Savage Land is home to a native sapient species, the Beast-Men.

A number of different nations have attempted to claim ownership of the Savage Land, as it is located on disputed land to which Argentina, Chille, and the United Kingdom have all laid claim, but thus far it has opperated autonomously.

Four scientific expiditons have been made to the Savage Land since its creation, one by Oxford University, one by the Argentinian government, and two by Avengers Idea Mechanics. In 2018, Lunella Lafayette became the first person to enter the Savage Land without the approval of any government.
