Los Angeles Incident
After becoming a Gamma Mutate, Samuel Sterns attempted to mutate the population of Los Angeles, as he believed Gamma Mutation was the future of the human race.
The the assistance of The Alliance he placed devices around the city which released an aerosolised version of the Bio-Tech Force Enhancement Project Serum and Gama radiation.
Bruce Banner and Betty Ross created a counter serum, and with the assistance of Helen Cho and the students of UCLA, they were able to mass produce enough to administer to all infected individuals.
The Alliance, who had not known of Sterns's ultimate plan, assisted Ross, Banner, and Clint Barton in defeating Horde and spreading the counter serum.
