Geoffrey Crawford
Dr Geoffrey Terrence Crawford
Geoffrey Crawford was a friend and mentor of Bruce Banner, who was assisting Banner in his search for a cure for his mutation. He was one of the world's foremost experts in radiation, especially the long-term effect of radiation on organic matter.
Samuel Sterns feared that Crawford's work might succeeded, and planted a bomb in Crawford's lab at UCLA. When it detonated, Crawford was exposed to Banner's blood, resulting in him becoming a Gamma Mutate.
He was killed by the Alliance on Sterns's orders, using the excuse that he was a threat to the civilians who had gathered to watch the fight.
