Waste Hounds - Competition

A small species of pack mammal found in the Volcanic Wastes of the Demon Realm - a canid with hooved back legs and large ram horns. They have black fur coats with gray and red spotting patterns with short furry tails.
Living in volcanic badlands, the waste hound can go long periods of time without water. They live in small packs, hunting prey by stalking them until the right moment to strike. While they may be small, their relentless attacks and cooperation can take down much larger prey.
They are also the prestige companion of powerful warrior families, and as such seen as the symbol of Sciekles, the Goddess of War.
