Personal history
Sou is one of the Nine Celestial Monarchs - the first gods that formed their respective realms. However, Sou is unique in three ways - he is neither a Sun God, nor the head of a pantheon, and he is the only god that has experienced death.
The Dragonic Realm formed around Sou, but without a sun - or rather, with a dead sun no primordial fragment could connect to - his realm could not form mortal life. Sou's moon was volcanic, granting it the life the rest of his plane lacked - but he was lonely, and wished for companionship.
Sou crashed his volcanic moon into the dead sun of his reality, bringing it back to explosive life - at the cost of his own, though he had anticipated the risk.
This gave birth to Thea, Goddess of the Sun. As she came to life and saw the realm before her, she saw the traces of its maker - and while her primordial strength remained, she collected the fragments of Sou's moon and restored them
Sou's divine spirit, tied to this celestial object, was also restored - though his power was greatly diminished from what it had been before. Still, Sou looked upon his daughter with pride - overjoyed to no longer exist in solitude.
As Thea brought the Dragonic Realm to life, more deities were born - and Sou sees them all as his children and grandchildren, watching benevolently as they live their lives.
