Sciekles - Competition

Sciekles and her twin brother, Vislaelos, are the only children born to Carmesso and Cegae. This is largely because the pair do not get along well - both have temperaments quick to anger, and water and fire are elements always known to clash. The birth of the twins actually began as an argument, as the gods only need the direct exchange of energy to create new gods. Perhaps it was this inherent clashing of elements and personalities that caused Sciekles to find her primary domain so quickly - that of War. Something that began in earnest as demons formed static settlements.
After spending some time learning and teach the art of warcraft in the mortal Demon Realm, Sciekles felt she was ready to challenge Maenscul - then only Deity fo the Sun - for the right to rule over the demonic pantheon of gods. But Sciekles underestimated the difference between a battle bewteen armies and one between individuals - a difference Maenscul knew well.
Maenscul defested Sciekles by taking advantage of her personal weaknesses - one largely being her overconfidence, gained from combatting mainly mortals while growing into her domain. Surprisingly, Sciekles was not upset by the loss. She even remained to learn more from Maenscul, and the pair were later wed as coul.
