Naosuli's Chariot

A comet that appears over the skies of the Demon Realm once every 10,000 years. It is the chariot of Naosuli, the Deity of Death. On the night it streaks across the sky, the spirits of the dead can freely cross into the Demon Realm from the Ghost Realm  An event occurring roughly once every three generations, many look forward to meeting with the souls of deceased loved ones, even for just one night. When it is predicted that the Chariot will appear, it is treated as a special holiday - many decorate their homes in rainbow colors in honor of the Death Deity, and prepare feasts to welcome their loved ones. These decorations usually include grass-woven banners and metal depictions of Naosuli.    Nobles and those able to afford it will include glass figurines to better depict the deity, some with a space for a candle or light rune to be inserted. Naosuli does not require this, nor do they play favorites - as death comes equally to all. The extravagance of the decorations or feasts are, therefore, a matter of personal pride and preference.    The day after the comet's passing is one of celebration - with a festival celebrating Naosuli held in the cities and local communities. What form this celebration takes varies from city to city, and often varies depending on the current social climate. In times of peace, it is often gentle and reflective - while in times of turmoil and strife, it is usually raucous and energetic. Perhaps a reflection of the kind of celebration most needed by the people at the time.

Manifestation

Naosuli's Chariot appears as a large white comet with a trailing rainbow tail - much like the deity of death's own manner of pouring light of every color through their glass body.
