The Izzet League

The Izzet League, a political party that was formed very recently under the guidance of Princess Irulan Thilovell, has quickly gained massive popularity with the Nobles amongst Silserion's High Elves.
They focus primarily on the advancement of technology and science, valuing progress above all. Unusual for an Elven society, to be sure, though this is helped by the fact that the party is comprised of almost 30% Gnomes and Humans, a huge number for such a generally conservative Government. Helping them in their endeavours are the Nobles whose favour they have won, despite all odds. After some initial hesitation, followed by the persuasion of the council by Princess Irulan, the League were allowed to take on Patrons and begin work on minor infrastructure improvements throughout the city.

Structure

The League is still quite new, so the organisation hasn't spread beyond a Founder and those more and less experienced. Scientists are praised the most within the organisation, and their opinion is usually trusted as the most important.
