General Physical Condition
Being on the smaller side of Kobolds and of relatively small physique he looks smaller than reality, however, his big personality and his imposing cultisty clothing makes up for that fact.

Apparel & Accessories
Wow, where to start...Being from the Rakdos Cult, Gek is covered in menacing black, gold and red clothing with an unnatural amount of metal and spikes. He has five rings on each hand which are attached to a wide cuff on his wrist by small chains engraved with the sigil of the Rakdos Cult.

Personal history
Gek was born to a family of high sorcerers. They were very experienced and practised casters who use their magical flame to control the melting down of magical items, retaining magical properties they had and forming a new material, Residuum. They were very well off and had generations of incredible sorcerers and wizards in their bloodline. They weren't known by many but a few members of nobility who frequently requested their services.
Gek was not as gifted as the rest of his family. His excitable nature, overall wonder at the unknown and IQ considerably below room temperature ensured that he was a sort of failing to his family name. He became an embarrassment as a result of his wild and unruly magic as well as his personality not being suited to the role his family naturally placed him in. His parents became impatient as he consistently failed to uphold their high standards. They began to hide Gek away in hopes of hiding his failing to the nobles who would pass by.
One day a travelling circus was passing through town, an opportunity which his parents took advantage of. They handed Gek to these circus folk so he could travel with them and no longer be part of their family. (Just so ye know, the circus is also the Cult of Rakdos.)
Gek, being slightly less intelligent than your average ant was completely unaware of the fact that his parents had shipped him off with this circus because of his unruly magic. According to him, he had had a wonderful upbringing full of exciting magic and the occasional (ie highly frequent) transformation into a potted plant. He was more than happy to go with the circus and their fascinating acts and was completely and utterly unaware that they are a cult.
The cult sends Gek on missions to retrieve valuable magic items that they can use for....cult things....however didn't specify that he had to bring them back to the circus and so, Gek is in possession of these valuable magic items and is left wandering, unaware of their power.
Education
Gek was educated mostly by his parents but they also hired tutors in hopes of them having a different and more effective approach to teaching. Nothing really worked...

Sorin is behind us he tells us to maintain composure, this place exists out of time, I have done some research on something I think you in particular will find interesting, and with you returning to my side perhaps I could show it to you,brace yourself in both mind and heart, he guestures towards the doors and goes towards them
We follow Sorin, he places his hand on the double doors, they swing outwards through him, we feel our bodies being lighter, whisps of ethereal energy float off us we are slightly see through, step through the doorway
Figure in plate-mail runs through us, charges through a large circular room, pattern tile floor, city of gloomwraught in the distance, city of havoc in the distance, it’s under assault, 2 pitfiends tearing buildings apart, devils climbing walls, 3 guards enter the room and fight against the devils entering the room, bone devils, bearded devils, a pitfiend, first figure- limps into the building, dead, DEMETER comes into the room- she still has her antlers,
One of the cool epic dudes rip Demeters antlers off and she crushes him into a tiny ball
Demeter walks into the temple and goes to the staircase and gets the blade of onyx back with 9 skulls that are all not lit (now 3 are lit, the dragon was the 4th)
We also get all the info from that one shot we did
We tell Sorin that we saw demeter and that there are 4 skulls lit, he tells us its the 9 lives stealer, theres lots of prophecies, whatever you may find you may not consider the truth, the land you hail from experiences cardinal directions and works different to here, space between edges are divided into sections, he only knows that somethgin at the centre pint of each of those sections is connected to the 9 lives stealers, theres 4 cardinal and 9 ordinal directional in the shadowfell
Sorin- is kinda weird he’s out of time with himself, teh one who took Arthurs heart if the one of the future, the one who gave it back is the one in the past who we talked to outside of the cathedral when we first left
Arthur touches thing to teleport and looks around and sees Sorin looks disheveled and glaring (looks mean) with his heart beating in his hand (Future Sorin), he’s not actually there when Niamh and Gek look

- Niamh uses locate object to locate a letter we send to the guy we're trying to find's diplomat's pouch
- We go to the Temple district, better quality place and seems like it was never hit by the disaster in the other places, there's a small square that is obliterated though, lots of churches for demons but mostly for Orcus, no devil worship
- Swaines bird is here lol
- While Niamh, Arthur, and Gek are explaining how you don't have to accept apologies to Gek, dudes come
- The dudes are in a kind of procession kind of an escort and everyone in the market goes quiet, people seem to respect them but they are not afraid of them but are slightly unsettled
- The dudes are House Shrike, they want us be "friends" with them, they don't seem to recognise Niamh Taron as a name or don't visibly freak out at it, we were talking to Nefer-u-sebek (they/them) native to this area but they have some Shrike blood, not all members of House Shrike are vampires
- Gostoc comes back and tells us he has a way to get info now ie. a girl with blue tattoos on her face and kinda pointy ears, she's not fully shad-arkai, we tell them we want info on where the guy is, what he's been doing, who talking to, why he'd stop talking with his boss etc. , the person who will do the info finding is Tahirah, she's going to find him then we'll decide what to do next
- Gostoc takes us to a secret bar and he gave up a coin to get back in
- Tahirah is pretty sure she knows where he is so we come with her
- We text the annoying dude and use locate object but can't locate it- the letter didn't send- he proabaly had his pouch off or something
- Fettered Ward in a house Niamh turns into a spider and goes into a room and there's a big time dead body, magic circle that we have no idea what it, doesn't seem to be a teleport circle that we've seen before or anything we've seen before for that matter, the dead person has a scroll in their hand we take it- Tahirah says its written in Infernal which she's guessing is related to the cult being here, we write down some of the script of the magic circle
- Sakata replies to our earlier text- Apologies for the delay I was busy, the deathless watch has been irritating to work around, I am safe and not in danger, I'm doing my work, if you draw more attention to me the more I will be in danger, we text him back and locate object on it and he's below us in the basement of the building we've in
Session 35: Into the Unknown
Shadofell travel
- Niamh does dispell magic and it works for half a second and works on Arthur for half a second and his heart stops working, its because the heart was put back in with magic or something, did kinda fix it
- City is going through a rebellion, fighting is happening, a building looks like a big thing sat on it
Gloomwrought
- The person we're looking for is liaising with the ruling power of gloomwrought but their house (castle) is smashed :( so it will be hard to find them, he's an elf called Sakata Yosai
- There's a symbol etched into the wall of a building
- We go into a shop and Louis comes in and the shopkeeper bolts out of his chair and bows- its because of Louis and him maybe being fancy, when Louis talked shopkeeper got freaked out ie like what the fuck he can talk
- Gostoc funky dude has a symbol on his jacket, probably thieves guild
- Gostoc palms a small rusty key to Gek when he asks for a high five
- Sakata is a bitch and refuses to meet with us when we text him
Session 34: One Step Back

Shadowfell 17/6/1436
- Louis' GPS is super broken in the Shadowfell and he gave a blackbox chip to Arthur to check why his GPS broke
- The entire cathedral is completely shattered
- Standing in the archway- see a huge city with skyscrapers, flying cars and huge smoke pillars
- Going through the arch to leave the cathedral Niamhs body nearly retches but composes herself and manages to leave, the city is still there but its normal, not futuristic, with no pillars of smoke, she looks back and the cathedral is completely gone
- The dude places a hand on Arthur's shoulder and gives back his heart
- If we entered the cathedral it means we were invited there by Avacin or blessed by avacin so he has to treat us like guests and we are trusted, he tells us not to let anyone find the cathedral
- She's an archangel of hope, we're the first people to know her name apart from him, don't say her name to anyone in the shadowfell, her name will not bring good things
- Hellvault- he created it a few thousand years ago, he doesn't remember admitting any new people, he's not sure if he would know if Acacyn put someone in by herself, prison he modelled after hell, aim to never let people escape
- Blade of Prophecy- nine lives stealer was stolen, if you feel the pull of it then go the opposite direction, he's not sure who stole it, he hasn't been there in a while
- Gek doesn't remember getting the book, going to the shadowfell in the domain of dread to get the book, being requested to get the book by cult of raktos, don't remember any moments of tellgin you to get the book, any talking about the book, forget the pretence on why I've left the cult
- Pyramids in the distance, closet one is made of black stone and its in the process of being built, the rest are normal sand colour
- Walk towards the centre of Gloomwraught or directly away from it otherwise we'll get lost
- White-haired dude is now called Fravycn, nevermind Sorin
- Look up the vile oath for info about the pyramids, but don't engage with them at all super dangerous
- Fravycyn gave Gek a high five
- Start travelling and Gek, Arthur, and Kayumi all basically died literally like 3 hi points by 6 Sorrowsworn
- Going past the black pyramid with the top gone that we thought was being built when we walked past it we saw that there's a chunk missing with the pyramid growing up towards the top as if it's growing
- Arthur and Gek saw the weird as dude at the top of the pyramid as if their eyes were pulled out of their head to see him because he's so high up, his face is permanently smile and growing and angry, we start running away and as soon as we turn away we hear a voice behind us growling at us
- Arthur, Gek and Niamh rolled the same for seeing the guy so why didn't Niamh see him up close?

- Svetlana tells us about how when she saw the eye she was the one who killed the rest of the people she was travelling on the boat with- she felt her own hand crush the ship
- Irulan wants us to go to the Shadowfell to see if people she sent there are ok
Blackpearl Keep 16/9/1436
- Arthur sees the dead dragon but it's see-through and there's a black cancerous growth inside it, then an eye appears in the growth its black with red- same as the fish and huge eye, he blinks and its the normal dead dragon again, no one else sees anything
- The dragon is filled with black meat, probably because of Demeters lifestealer sword, there is a black cancer thing surrounding the heart but there's no eye like how Arthur saw- could be from Demeter or maybe the reason why the Dragon never talked to us and followed Koognars

- Adult alive dragon also has red eyes only for Arthur and is specifically staring at Arthur, baby dragon is normal
- Crystal- stabilises stuff around it and stabilised the black stuff in the dead dragon
- Black stuff- demon goo, unstable, cortisefs, demon parasite
- Irulan and Swaine- the armsdealer is a dude in the Shadowfell that is Swaine, he's a devil contractor, he's one of the most prolific communicators with the helltech, he's also supplying Nishrek (Thiolovels enemy), there's an arms race and he's supplying both sides with helltech and weapons, whoever gets the Skeggar Ilses will have the upper hand and will likely win the war, she says that we won't be able to kill Swaine
- It's a bad thing that Swaine likes Arthur, Swaine doesn't usually deal with unimportant people, he operates out of Noxus he's the grand general
- We go into the portal and when Arthur comes in the white haired man has his hand in his chest and is holding his heart in his hand- asks who he is and why he's here, he takes Arthurs heart out of his body but Arthur feels ok, he asks Niamh to show him the necklace, he says that if we reveal the location of this place Arthur will not get his heart back and he disappears with Arthurs heart

- Arthur is in Silcerion, signs up to the Veterans Guild, buys a diplomats pouch, buys a carving set
- Gets a weird feeling while sleeping, wakes him up, weird headache, where he put his carved sculpture, there is a carving of an enormous eye on the antler that he actually carved he picks it up, look at gands and its gone, look back to the table and the carving is back on the table but its a carving of a deer with one antler which he didn't carve either
Silcerion Gek and Niamh Arrive 7/8/1436
- Murgo gold- is only for coins, a guy called Murgot has something to do with it, cases of people murdering each other to get more, the more you have the more you want, the less you have the better it is, very addictive, will never be spent, only those who were granted it by the Demon Lord Orcus can control the urge to have it, lots of myths and rumours, woman called Murgot who was the bride of Orcus who was one of the first Liches and made the gold, another story about woman named Murgot and found the gold in a cave and killed everyone on her ship because they all wanted some, woman called Murgot who was granted a mass of this gold by a demon prince of undeath- Orcus- and she hoarded it and took all of the murgot gold she could get but it kept feeling like she had less so she wanted more and then she slept on a pile of red mugot gold now she's a red dragon, are stages of murgot gold obsession- to do with how long you have it but mostly how much you have- want to keep it, don't want other people to have it, will kill people for looking at it, really bad more than that, if it's lost they might kill themselves to get it back
- Arthur gets lore, massive section in a book redacted on why the Ralken-Gombuldar war started, half of the reason the war started is still there that Arthur thought was the only reason the war started but there's clearly more to it that someone doesn't want people to know
- Niamh gets back implant for armour during wildshape
- Chat to Irulan about stuff, she wants us to take care of the castle and we sell her the crystal prince crystal
- Arthur shows us the deer that was on the table but we see the eye carving and he only sees the deer
- Izzet league and Emerald Enclave person come to find Niamh, they offer Demeter's ceremonial armour for Niamh to wear while knighting
- Avacyn from the Theology lecturer- probably not a god, twin god, some familial bond, angel, saint of a god, he doesn't have any info on the Hellvault most of the information is redacted, its in the shadowfell, there was a diplomatic mission something to do with the hellvault a couple decades ago, they are probably twin gods because they are like opposite things, maybe parent god, weird to see two gods praying to one- could be one less than the other or both always come together, there's celestial energy in the amulet, its very weak, two elements to it he senses both celestial and arcane magic in it, arcane magic feels simultaneously celestial, if a god imbues an object with celestial energy but the energy is related to something that is normally a controlled field of the arcane it sometimes shows up as arcane and celestial, teleportation circle might teleport to a temple for avacyn, magic is chronomancy in amulet
- Amulet- chronomancy, when worn it transports the wearer back to the point where they make the decision that will cause their death at the instant they die

- Gek and Niamh go to Rootsreach, Arthur, Kayumi and Louis go to Silserion
Travel to Silserion 19-25/8/1436
- Arthur, Kayumi and Louis go on an Asa Asari ship to go to Silserion
- Gets attacked by a Kraken but it isn't a Kraken it's a metaphysical massive monster thing that can't be touched
- Swaine's raven is there and shows the invisible monster thing to Arthur and makes it go away by cawing at it
- Arthur heard a chuckle in his head- assumably Swaine
- Svetlana, Arthur describes what happens, when he mentions the red iris on a fully black eye that was on the fish that started attacking the sailors she turns her face away that has the eyepatch- as if to hide her eyepatched eye from Arthur
- Svetlana clearly knows it's not a baby Kraken, she pulls up her eye patch- there's a scar that scrapes on the top and bottom of the eye but not actually through her eye- her eye is black with a red iris, she says the thing that they encountered "gave" her her eye
- Svetlana lied- she actually knows a lot about the Skeggar isles, she was from there- previously she said she didn't really know anything about it, all her friends have the same background as Arthur- mom gone, dad died from an animal, grew up in the middle of nowhere, went to war, they all went on a ship and something showed up and all of them died except Svetlana had been thrown overboard because they said she was bad luck so that's how she survived that monster, she heard a voice that said it would keep her alive and she took that deal, she never saw its body
Travel 22-1/8-9/1436
- Niamh and Gek buy loads of potions from Arkax, Gek tries to apologise to Arkax for getting way too curious about the person in the tower but is too inquisitive and Arkax gets kinda frustrated but its kinda good
- Gek gets Niamh to put flowers around the tower while staying not too close
- Hybris the satyr meet him
- Pray to Avacin- ask where the best place to put the tome of the stilled tongue so people don't get it- hazy, cant make out anything, see a plinth, statue above it, carved robes, cant make out the top part, faint image on the ground, its the magic circle on the floor of the black pearl keep its intact but only see it for a split second

- Kugnarz sent first way of fighters to kill us, killed archers :(, frog is epic, they retreated, ballista is cool

Katusko Estate 29/7/1436
- Kayumi- Left arm broken, super injured, wrapped her sword to her hand so she can even hold it, kneeling headless Oni, large red Oni- resembles Kayumis old master
- Ghost- rolling smoke, floating, non-natural
- Far wall- sword rack, sword on the ground, familiar guard, huge Nodachi that Kayumi seemed to be in the process of putting the guard on
- Ghost looks at Arthur, looks at the sword on the floor, draws his own smokey sword
- Gek nearly turns Niamh to stone but she saves herself, Gek gets paralysed for a second, the effect of the spell has stopped
- There's a room behind the waterfall, gap cant get to
- Kayumi's sword activates and the sword takes damage that Arthur should have taken so he doesn't die and Kayumi falls tot he floor, aksyumi tries to sheath the massive sword and the spirit gets pulled into the blade,
- Niamh fails another con save the dumbass, memory land, room behind the waterfall, red Oni kneeling, Akimbimi arms bound in shackels at entrace of cave, seems to be unconscious, trails of smoke billowing from skin, Kayumi is standing in front of her with a sword, her father is standing behind her with some more oni which seem to be leaving out a passage, only three left, close to present day Kayumi, father barking orders at Kayumi, Kayumi hesitates with her sword towards Akibimi, she tries to swing at her father but he just catches it, father kneels with a tear in his eye, he bows is head and embraces her, he takes the sword and turns Kayumi away, Kayumi says something to him, e is completely shocked and he says "Kayumi no", she pulls out another blade, points it at him and then walks out of the room, the memory becomes much more muddled and vanish, father sheaths his blade and falls to his knees with his hands over is eyes and shouts something, Niamh follows Kayumi, the other Oni seem puzzled and confused then they acknowledge the situation, seems like Kayumi challenged her father+master (same person in this case) to save Akibimi?, faint trail of smoke pours from her mouth, Niamh wakes up
- The parent is the teacher, you pledge your allegiance to a master
- The room has the sehackels that Akibimi was tied to but they are crushed and dented, go down the corridor were Kayumi went in the dream to a different room, the entire room is covered in blood and stinks, old blood not years old- more recent than that, we find Arthur and Kayumi
- We kept the massive sword, Akibimi is gone
Blackpearl Keep 30-5/7-8/1436
- Back in Blackpearl keep, gave a message to Gojou Atsukane Asari (head of Asasari) about giving us help with the hobgoblins saying the traderoots would be destroyed if he didn't help
- "You owe me nothing for this, consider it a gift between soon to be friends, I look forward to our blossoming partnership" from the 6 eyed raven from Swain
- Gojou Atsukane Asari read it out to an Izzet League ambassador which forces him to help us (woop woop), but he wants to discuss details, also told us there's records of mines in our area and he suggests that we make use of it
- Kayumi somewhat recovers and struggles to explain herself to Arthur, he sees her unsheath the Kusabimaru sword, the blade swoly coats itself in black and pulls itself away to form the figure of the spirit, the smoke billows off and a solid dull coloured form appears, it takes off a mask, it's Kayumi, it's the same as they fought, the figure floats to the ground and matches Kayumi, they point their swords at each others chest slowly, they both slowly stab each other and real Kayumi grabs the ghost sword and pushes it fully into herself, the spirit and its sword fully disappear, she falls to the ground, Arthur goes over, there's no injury but her clothes are ripped, he seaths the sword and brings her to bed

The Shadowfell
- Time moves much slower here, there is no sun- always dark, everyone is always having sex, Demeter got a following quick because she had more time in the Shadowfell, nothing in between cities just badlands, we are lieutenant, a reflection of the faeywild like the opposite, technology is held back by the harsh environment, most technology is demon make imported from nine hells in exchange for souls
- We are in Gloomwrought, there are Keepers, we are lieutenants of the deathless watch
- Prince Rolan, hides in the palace, called Prince Rolan the deathless, been alive for 100 years and looks like he's in his 30s
- Cult of Orcus is the main religion
- No loud noises because there are Sorrowsworn that come and kill you
- Temple district- lots of preachers, usually spread across the city, not lots more chaos than usual, they contradict each other like they're arguing with each other rather than preach to the people, word of a false prophet, 3 large groups that seem to be in support, in opposed and say they are a deceiver, and others that scream about a prophecy we've never heard about before, its a woman who has arrived on the plane, speak of threat, false prophet or a saviour and should be worshipped, Queen of Blades is her title, arrived recently in SHadowfell, small following that believes she is the true prophet, Things that don't match up woman pale white skin, no tongue, two eyes one big yellow and insectoid, however none of this was in the prophet, Thinks that match up- lone person pale skin, silent and on a mission, walked straight to the heart of the city, apparently she walked through sorrowsworn as if she had no emotion worth to eat, she walked though the badlands and somehow is apparently now within the city walls
- The Fettered Ward- entertainment district, more preachers, on the verge of riot, a preacher is standing on a platform with a religious text - the words "of oath" on the book, and reads the prophecy, he speaks of a creature, a person so bad no sorrowsworn will claim them, they are an incarnation fo sorrow themselves, they will walk through the city and claim her title by getting the onyx sword at the heart of the city- it is held deep below the palace, called the nice lives stealer, has nine skulls on the sword, when she claims it she will need to seek other items in her quest, no one knows what the quest is it is her own, true believers should sacrifice themselves to help her get what she wants, the preacher holds up the mace of Molag Bal and offers it to the Queen of Blades, everyone goes quiet, flash of white light, Demeter is here still with her antlers, she takes the mace and vanishes, preacher says "the time is nigh, the queen of blades will rise to her throne no matter the cost"
- Preacher start the summoning circles in the cellar beneath him and summons 5 bearded devils and 1 bone devil, then 2 spined devils
- Loads of devils and cult people are surrounding the castle and are clambering at the walls, they know that the black sword is there
- The cultists are brandishing other cultists clothes and heads, we go under the ground to get to the room where the black sword is under
- Watchcaptaim Halgrim is praying to a stained glass image of a woman and is clutching a symbol of Avasin, the woman might be Avasin, the room with that stained glass is locked with super powerful magic, seemingly more protected than the onyx blade itself
- Halgrim commands that we will die before anyone touches the onyx blade
- Halgrim is a zombie or something now ( D: ) and comes into the room with bearded devils, there's a pitfiend here too now
- Demeter has counterspell, bitch, also can make zombies immediately, Zanthapus' and Belerathons' soul is now trapped within his corpse and is under Demeters control, Hecter is an animated empty suit, Halgrim is fully awakened back alive and the three of us are loosed on him
- Demeter takes the sword and fully ascends to The Queen of Blades
Session 24: A Prayer Answered

- Niamh prays to the archfey The Owl Prince and things feel different, there are two sets of eyes, a symbol and the name Avacyn, massive wings mimic the symbol, see the face of a man, pale white skin, pure white hair, pitch black eyes, puzzled look, symbol reappears, Niamh feels an answer to the prayer of protection of her father with a feeling of futility and possibility, The Helvault words also appears, the amber medallion that is around Niamhs neck (was it there before??) begins to glow
- Amber medallion has star stuff and sun dial and the symbol in it
- Niamh prays to Avacyn, sense of relief, feeling of hope, absolute darkness, bead of perfect green light, defiance, positive emotions, determination, something feels weird, there's no answer no feeling of presence, fleeting feelings, cant quite grasp any of the emotions, feeling of promise
Kal Fight
- Walking towards the church with green pool and Kal, the amber medallion starts glowing and feeling of reassurance
- the amber medallion glows super bright as Kal is about to die and a super bright light from it opens the portal to limbo and it changes to a complete black void and the image of the words The Helvault appear for NIamh, it starts sucking everything towards it, Vermeer is pulled in and is the portal seals and he vanishes, Niamh hears a feminine voice whisper "a prayer made and a promise kept"
- Niamh had to avoid falling rocks and turned to a swarm of bats and they go to the ground safely, before Niamh falls unconscious she sees the man with pale white skin, pure white hair and pitch black eyes from when she was dreaming
- Arthur goes to give a healing potion to Niamh and when he opens her mouth Niamh has fangs and then they retract and her entire mouth starts bleeding
- We have the stone, the runes are gone, it is completely inert To do- research who Avacyn is, ask arkax about the amber medallion and the fancy magic on it, Research the Gith, research the cultists, ask the medic his name, research Vecna, return painting to the princess, tunnel in the village by the windmill, research the queen of blades, buy soap, Kayumi has something for Arthur when we go to the Boreal Valley
Session 28: Inherited Nightmare

Katsuko Estate 29/7/1436
- 1st room- 2 dudes we killed, the room has been searched through, marking on floor- faded scuff marks circular shape very destroyed and old, second scuff mark on floor by the wall making a semicircle
- 2nd room- no one in here, we all individually hear a flute playing behind our heads and mist flows down our shoulders, Niamh fails the saving throw and falls onto the floor
- Niamh wakes up in the room however, the rest of the party isn't there, there are no old blood stains and no slashes on the walls, Niamh can't see herself, young Kayumi and Akibimi are there , Kayumi is trying to hold a blade, a whisp of a ghost is in front of her adn she is focusing on it, Akibimi is reaching from behind Kayumi and fixing her stance, a door slides open and an Oni comes in (white hair), Niamh doesn't speak Oni so doesn't know what he says, oppressive presence, he points outside, seems angry, frustrated, dissatisfaction, seemingly scolding Kayumi, Akibimi steps forward, bows and says something to the man, he reaches out a hand to Akibimi, there is a sense of fear in the room, Kayumi turns back to the invisible target, she seems nervous, she makes a pretty good cut but not ideal, she looks expectantly at the guy, 5 others enter the room, they kneel down around Kayumi at the edge of the room, the scary guy gestures to the people in the room, Kayumi points hesitantly to one person, the guy barks and points at Akibimi, she points to a person, its another Oni, doesn't look particularly terrifying and seems more respected and higher up than the rest, he stands up and goes to the middle, Akibimi goes to his place, Kayumi and the guy fight, it's obvious the guy is way way better than her, he holds back at the start, the scary man barks at him and the guy starts to use his full force, Kayumi is super struggling now, the master says something to Kayumi, the guy pierces her straight through her shoulder, Niamh tries to cast a healing spell on her- nothing seems to happen, they keep fighting, the master shouts more things, the guy raises his sword and aims for his head, Kayumi freezes, before the guy strikes the master kicks Kayumi away and stops the guy, he gives a had to Kayumi to pull her back to her feet and they speak more, Niamh wakes up again
- Arthur and Gek- see Niamh asleep and her eyes are darting around the place, no immediate issues, slight tense in her body, faint trail of the mist around her mouth, (Niamh casts the healing spell) her eyes light up under her eyelids, the old blood pool in the room shakes and a spider lilly shoots out of the ground and soaks up the blood, Gek and Oscar hear the flute again with no mist and Niamh gasps herself awake
- Niamh tries to message Kayumi and it doesn't go through- something is blocking it, there's a dull scream of pain in the background
- We kill more dudes, in a blue Onis pants of something there's a painting on a scroll of someone standing with a sword with a circle on the bamboo floor, the person is striking their sword and hitting bamboo, some sort of speed training regimen
- We kill more dudes, Gek is medusa now because WIld Magic lol, Louis knows Kayumi is dying
- We split up to look for Kayumi and doors close behind us, Niamh and Gek together, Arthur and Louis together
- A+L find Kayumi in a big room super super dying fighting the ghost that was behind her menacingly, Arthur puts the divine confetti on his sword so he can kill ghosts

- Read book in library in Blackpearl Keep- The Way of the Oni- Oni kill their masters once they have learned everything from them- religious tradition, Oni special Rule- someone breaks a rule and are immediately killed, if they break it somewhere apart from the estate they are caged and brought back, no one other than the Oni know what it is, Kayumi got super upset/angry we don't really know, she ran away
- Louis interpretation of why she ran away- she didn't want Arthur to know that she was going to kill him, she was embarrassed about Arthur knowing that she was going to kill him, she broke the rule and was scared Arthur would tell, her sister broke the rule and she didn't kill her/defended her and was scared Arthur would tell
- Swords on wall-1-The parent is absolute, 2- the master is absolute, 3- fear is absolute
- Got potions appraised at Lady Lavenders
- Went to forest, Onis dead- different clan to Katsuko estate, one was killed with a katana and the rest were killed with a bid hard thing (Kanabo from Akibimi), more dead peeps- all from the same clan

Session 23: The Penuntimate Hunt

Worldshade Caverns Keepv 13/7/1436
- rift opens to trees and grass and mountains when Kal grabs the stone, it will probably not teleport us to the same place as Kal because the longer it stays open the more unstable it gets
- We all go through the portal after Kal, Niamh ends up by herself, Gek is with Louis, Arthur is with Kayumi
- Niamh- gets attacked by a snake and tries to run along the tree line but falls, she gets bitten by the snake then gets saved by Gek from getting bitten again
- Arthur and Kayumi- get attacked by hyenas, hears an explosion and runs towards it and finds Gek and Niamh
- Gek and Loius- Louis senses three other portals and they start running towards the nearest one, finds Niamh and saves her from getting bitten again
- Kayumi tries to suck out the poison from Niamh, it kinda works, we go over to the bottom of the mountain towards the north and set up camp
- Arthur takes first watch and sees a chewinga that makes him feel happiness, familiarity, this is a good chewinga, brings him a folded leaf with a faintly yellow powder in it looks quickly at the sleeping Niamh and then leaves, Louis says its probably a cure for Niamh and it works (pog)
- We start going towards the other portal, we find an area of mud that doesn't follow physics, there's a small crystal with lightening around it, the Slaad skin is starting to vibrate in Arthurs bag, Louis says that Kal might have been able to keep open a portal to limbo separate to the stone that may have ended up having the properties of it come out of the portal, the Slaad skin tries to pull towards the crystal, a lightening bolt shoots towards the skin and bounces off and lands on the ground that creates a bubble of reality distortion, Arthur gets used to using the bolts and skin to shoot, they detonate about 30 feet away if it doesn't hit anything
- Arthur makes a slaad armour shield for the chaos lightening

Session 22: Getting Personal

Worldshade Caverns 10-13/7/1436
- Runnign away from Kal, they don't seem to be following us
- The keep inside the cave exists so that might be the important place
- We try climbing up the cliff outside of the cave to get back to the road but we get firebolted from inside, we run away fully
- Gek sneaks sand into Arthurs hip flask
- We all have baths and Kayumi has loads of scars, Niamh learns how to juggle and Kayumi doesn't want to, when we arent there she totally practices how to do it but doesn't want us to know, then we put flowers in her hair
- Fox has been observing us for a bit
- Gek gives three good juggling rocks to Kayumi
- Arthur goes hunting with Kayumi and they chat
- Soemthign screeches during the night and there are zombies here now except zombies don't screech, there's a ghoul here, there's a thing in black armour white face was the one who screamed and is a Wight
- Go into the cavern where the keep is when we found the slaadi there, it smells like rotting corpses from a secretion on the walls, there's a sort of growling noises coming from cavern, two red one blue and the green Kal slaadi are here woop woop
Session 21: Rocky Road

Worldshade Caverns 9-10/7/1436
- 2 Slaad have passed through where we fought the other salad and some more troglaidtes
- Follow the path upwards towards where the troglodytes came from and it splits into 3 paths, one south and two north, one into a valley and one along the mountain and we choose to go along the mountain, end up going valley route instead
- We go into a tunnel and to the west there's a blocked tunnel, some of the rubble is from individual scratch marks, something seems to have pushed the rest of the rubble there, its not a collapsed tunnel- something purposely blocked it, we make a tiny hole to look through and it just looks like a tunnel
- Walk through the tunnel that goes north, completely pitch black, glowing mushrooms at the end, super smelly, old oil secretions on the wall that is used to make entryways and communicate and things, large cave with aquifer, there's brown mold and poisonous mushrooms that release clouds of poisonous spores
- Two Magmin sitting at a fire
- Smaller tunnels have loads of Ankheg eggs everywhere, there are planks blocking a path, circle and geometrical shape not arcane on the wood, big Ankheg and babies
- Ankegs have tremor sense, can drag people under ground, acid damage from blood, vulnerable to fire, immune to acid
- Looks like elf is devouring a dead Ankheg behind the planks of wood, in that small cave there's loads of scratch marks, lots of inwards spirals, patterns and sigils carved into the wall by a cisel on the floor, greeny yellow glazed over eyes, he starts running and then explodes himself when trying to escape
- 2 of the same number= vulnerability + resistance= nothing, res+immunity= heal from damage of that type, res+res= immunity, vul+immune= flip a coin to decide
- Vermeer is here, we had a deal, I do believe your end of the deal is up, we run the fuck away so we don't have to give him the stone

- Spellcounter- Arkax isn't there and Clarence shows us where the black pearls were stored and we take them, Gek writes an apology letter to Arkax and gives him flowers

- Make it back to Rootsreach around noon and there's a massive airship with a captain standing at the front, everyone is looking at it. The Izzet league was sent to check whether we are strong enough to help them with something they are going to. There's a massive black Wyvern that the ambassador is riding on, he gets dropped off on the airship
- Bring the humans to the inn, get them all baths, Maerel (innkeeper) says we will need to pay and thank you for what we've done, we can probably afford to pay for them for a year
- Niamh gets a bone sculpture of a deer from Meredith (old woman) as a thank you, bone sculptures can be signs of worship to Aliandra
- Arthur gets his armour fixed
- He's in the cellar with Clarance but won't let us see what he's doing, very obviously hiding something
- Rod- old arcane enchantment, rod of absorption, spell storing, mage slayers, turning point of major wars, very rare and usually well guarded
- Deep magic- the old arcane, very difficult can be impossible do, need supernatural connection to the weave
- Hag made potion- stronger because of hag juice, paralysis, one drop can knock a man out for an hour, boils really really fast in air and produces a vapour which paralyse people, they can still breathe
- Two eyes- tale of the twin dragons- they were children to Thordak- one white one red, each had an eye stolen when the humans were fighting against Thordak in the battle for Crete, the kids were slaughtered and that's why he burnt down Crete, he's going to put the eyes into the gauntlets to make them stronger versions of the gauntlets
- Hag- infuriatingly active recently, might not have been the hag because the one we killed was too easy to kill, the real one is thousands of years old, heartstone- unnaturately healing properties and can transport material sometimes organic (always inorganic) to the Etherial plane (soul world, the place where Persephone would go into in dreams)
- Arkak had been brewing a turquize potion and the mage hand took the potion down into the cellar, can't confirm if it was suspiciously trying to hide the potion while bringing it down or just being fast
- The Boreal Valley- north, between two mountain peaks, way bigger than a valley, orcs that are his ancesters from the theocracy, sent generations ago held residency for ages there, it was destroyed a few years back, goblins infest it now, the Parun (head of the Izzet league, who we also learn is the Princess Irulan) has given him the rights to lay siege there as a test for the ariel company, they need us as people who know the area and are adventurer
- Izzet league has had the Boreal Valley as a top priority for a while, do not underestimate it, the county of boreal valley used to be county of theocracy, nothing can compete with dynacy and teheocracy, reclaiming bv it would tell theocracy it would show they're willing to ......
- Military/Political/strategic notes by Oscar- the Continent is held in a balance of power between the Orcish Theocracy and the Elven Dynasty who, each for their own reasons, do not war with one another or anybody else. Though there are other regional powers they cannot rival the might of the two great powers. The county of the Boreal Valley, situated bordering both powers has traditionally served as an embassy and site for diplomacy. The Izzet League, which is mostly comprised of refugees from the Skeggar Isles, wishes to reclaim their homelands. In aid of this, they want to reclaim the Boreal Valley as a peace offering, so that the Theocracy are not inclined interfere when they reconquer the Skeggar Isles. They pick Vordokov to do this because he is so personally dedicated to reclaiming the Boreal Valley.

- There's loads of goblins, some ogres and a couple of trolls in the castle on a cliff, Vordokov grunts because he's angry that the goblins are destroying his ancestral home

Session 19: Daytrip to Silcerion

Sidequests- Niamh- trial for unicorn, reflection of parents in pond- two versions of them, left them behind, one where Chwinga help heal basilisc, went through red forest with lilac river, white forest where everything was looking at her, forest super mega tall, following cluster of fairys that looked like stag, followed will of the wisp and jumped off cliff, landed on top of mountain, unicorn there passed trial, now need to look after forest when the unicorn dies, Demeter came and killed the unicorn and sword glowed, Demeter attacked, Niamh stole sword and threw it off the cliff, Demeter jumped off the cliff, Niamh storm caused avalaunch, called for help, Velna came, brought Niamh back to Keep
- Arthur- Skeggar Isles, stowed away on a slave ship, followed the slave convoy to a monstrously big quarry. They are stored in a building outside it, guarded by Louis. Arthur does some recon then enters the building. He has a fight with Louis, takes the control node, then he and the slaves fuck off east to find a port. After they make camp he is happened upon by General Swain, who elects not to tell Warfall that his ingredients are escaping. Arthur gives Louis back his free will (control node). Arthur buys passage back for them and then pays for a months rent in an inn. then goes back north with Louis
- Gek- goes back to Rootsreach to talk to Arkax, follows him and Arkax drinks a potion and makes him go invisible, it also turned a small twig invisible too, gets to the wizard's tower and open the trapdoor up the stairs only for it to get bright runes and for them to shine a really bright light and blind him, he falls down the stairs, theres a woman with a super raspy voice that shoots fire down at him, he lies and says he's here to learn more magic and brings up a mage hand to show he can do magic and says he's a sorcerer, she runs away, Arkax sprints into the tower and shouts at Gek to get out, Gek leaves and goes back to the tavern, some people look out the window but he's too much of an idiot to notice what it is even though a god (Seamus) told him what happened, Arkax is in Geks room when he gets there and tells him to never speak to 0anyone about what he saw or what happened and that he has to ask Arthur about what trauma means so he can understand, next day Arkax is gone, presumably in the tower, Gek goes back to the camp
- Go to Silcerion and get the rune fixed, by travelling with Vordokov in the airship
- Deal with the slaadi and trogladites with Vordokov
- Go to Chult to find out what the green slaad is up to

Katsunari College- Narusa- researcher of interplanar travel, plane of chaos, 5th plane, raw elemental chaos, no laws of reality, tightly bound secrets to get there, to get there could cause irreparable damage if gate is open for more than 15 seconds- limbo incursions, no order, god Mecanus invaded it- god of order- created the spawning stone which created the Slaadi, people there called the Gith- Gith Zerai and Gith Yanki- live sometimes in limbo and sometimes dunno where, dotn know where they came from, they live there but arent native there, came after Mecanus was there, there's a school of magic made by them to manipulate the chaos using your mind and meditation don't really understand it
- Panos Athanakos- got permission from him, Izzet league to ask fancy questions
- Yamagata- runes researcher, easily finished, could basically finish it and then give instructions to Arkax to finish finish it when we need it
- Scrying- Vermeers mind is not on this plane of existence, Vermeers body- in chult, exact same scene as last time, ruined chapel , Vermeers body in Slaad form standing in front of the green pool of liquid, starting into it, pure silence, feel whiplash as the pool rippels, loop as pool shows us- he is scrying on us as we scry on him, he stares at us and then head twists back and locks about to where we're looking, he snaps his fingers and stops our scrying
- Scrynig should really be through a clear pool and not a green pool
- The scrying dude gave us a small black coin with a raven on it and says some people might be in touch
Silcerion 4/7/1436
- Guards are telling people to leave from the alley the scryer went down yesterday, a guard vomits, blood is slattered everywhere and bones, blood leading towards sewers
- Panos Athanakos- giving information about how we are kinda the cause of the murder, it was the guy who scryed for us that is likely dead, Athanakos tells us to leave with Vordokov immediately
- Gek sprints down a staircase following someone running to give someone he's clearly scared to give a message to
- General Swane comes out from the staircase and says to Arthur that he knew they'd meet again and he goes up the elevator probably to meet with Athanakos and the Princess
- Gek takes the coin with the raven on it from the scrying guy and runs up to the meeting that's happening, we put a piece of paper outside the door saying that
- We go back to Rootsreach
- Detect magic- Niamh once on the journey back sees someone scrying on us probably Kal, dispel magic makes it go away
Session 17: Infiltration
13-14/6/1436
Airship travel 13/6/1436
- In the aftermath of the fight, Niamh stays nearby Gek's crater to watch out for him while Arthur heads up into the invisible airship to talk shop. We've been able to tell that the goblins have a leader; either an unusually strong goblin, an unusually smart troll, or else not a goblinoid (maybe a wizard).
Fight 14/6/1436
- We take a rest while we wait for Gek to come back. We are woken up (at noon), by Gek coming back with a pocket of violently filling vacuum. Gek is really really traumatised and Arthur commiserates.
- We split up, Vordakov gets out a Gorgon (a metal bull, fuck you Gary Gygax), goes in the gate to start clearing them
- we take advantage of the distraction to sneak in and try to take some gobbo captive to try and get information on whomever is their leader.
- We eventually get one into a semi-ruined building by the chapel. We ask him nicely and he says his boss' name is Kugnarz - the warlord. We also learn the goblins' name is boblin - wait sorry it's klogz, huh, that's weird.
- We move past the chapel - which is full of goblin archers that thankfully do not see us.
- We are suspicious of the seemingly abandoned keep, so we cast detect magic on peachs and send him to take a look. We see some illusions. A warg comes in, tracking our scents, when it gets skewered by a 13/14 foot spike, which we learn is shot by a frost giant with a greatbow.
- We are thinking and strategizing when we hear giant wingbeats. We see 3 white dragons, one adult and 2 young. They approach and land on the roof, one of them flies into a hole and reappears a minute later with Kugnarz on his back.
- Kugnarz is a Hobgoblin in full plate.
- We talk to Vordakov with the diplomats' pouch, he advises we hunker down.
- We find a house to hide in, but, unfortunately, it has goblins in it. We kill them quickly, and hide. The Dragon lands on the inner wall and speaks to a frost giant, they send 6 arrows into the area where Vordakov is hiding and destroy a bunch of buildings. We hide for ages and realize that the goblins are searching for whoever was in the city attacking the goblins, By this point, Vordakov has gotten out but they don't know that.
- We make a dash for the edge of the crater because Vordakov told us there are probably open sewers there
- Made it just outside the sewers, the lieutenant with arm and leg missing nearly dead throws a hand sized coin towards us with expands into a giant blue energy bubble which protects us seconds before the ice from the adult dragon (which had been invisible waiting in the crater for something to come in) hit us
- Niamh shows the scale on the gound, it shatters and swirling yellow magic crystals erupt everywhere heralding an Archfae who shouts at us about his particular distaste for a certain dragon (Sylak lol) and demands a request from us. We ask him to deal with the dragons and the Frost Giants which he kills instantaneously (big pog). He vanishes.
- This Archfae is called the Crystal Prince absolutely despises Sylak and us now we will have to massively apologise to him big big time
- Gek steals as many crystals as he can carry
Session 13: Blessed Spirits
30-31/5/1436
The Grove 30-31/5/1436
Archdruid- We get to the top of the ladder to see the Archdruid standing 30ft. away near the centre of the grove. The dude we've rescued is dead but at this point, we don't know that. Niamh asks the Archdruid for help urgently but she's confused. Gek explains. She directs us to lay him on a bed of moss while Arthur explains further. She declines to resurrect him, given that he's already dead.
- We take the time to inspect his armour and see an unusual symbol. It's reminiscent of a labyrinth or a maze, with a spiralling motif. It appears twice, on the side of his helm and on his breast. His armour is plain, functional steel - with the exception of his helm, which is silver-plated. Given his lack of arms, we figure he was probably moved by the pudding.
- Niamh asks the Archdruid about her thorns; she says it's likely a blessing, given that it occurred near Demeter's grave, and that some remnant of Demeter is likely responsible. Niamh decides to tell Vylna (the Archdruid) about the Unseelie Fae, she says, "Oh, is it that time of decade again?" She says she'll pass the news on to Asterias, and that he's been rather stressed recently.
- Vylna buries the dude, and he magically sinks into the ground, a mound forming above him, and beautiful wildflowers quickly grow. Gek picks flowers and gives them to Arthur (a blue one), and Niamh (a green one). Thordak
- We're filling her in on our problems and when we mention the door to Thordak she teleports us to it. She says that it shouldn't be open and she seals it by collapsing the cavern roof. She also asks us to keep quiet about it, which is good because we haven't fully told anyone. She says that Thordak is still alive, but has been sleeping for a long time. She says he is on Chult, in a microbiome of his own. She was part of a group of people who helped him escape, all that time ago. We share our suspicions that the Green Slaad have been using the door to travel to and from Chult.
- We talk about Thordak, and his betrayal, how the Cretans tore his heart out (literally), We also learn that Vylna doesn't like Crete; it seems that nobody does. Thordak's heart is probably still in create, we hear that he replaced it as a part of a pact with Tolaris Foc, in exchange for a scroll. Slaadi plans
- We continue to talk; about our plans to deal with the troglodytes and slaadi. She is unwilling to condone the wholesale slaughter of the troglodytes and suggests we focus on the slaadi instead of the troglodytes, given that they are the dangerous ones. She asks us to leave off our genocide-brown mould plan and says that she and Asterias will intensify their cull.
- She is confident that we can deal with the green salad because she senses a powerful magical presence with us, which we discover is Sylak's scale. This is confusing. Sylak's scale contains more power than any pseudodragon should. We wonder what in the ever-living Kentucky-fried-fuck he is.
- Vylna summons a Velociraptor to watch over Thordak's door, and Niamh has a moment; now she can be a feathery boi too
- Vylna and us work out a plan to deal with the troglodytes and slaadi. We go in one of the big entrances and draw them outside where Asterias, Vylna and the Drukharii Ambassador can massacre them. Back in Grove
- After we're done talking, she teleports us back to the grove. Asterias is there but he's covered in gore so he goes to shower. As soon as we're alone Sylak comes out and berates us for showing Vylna the scale. We question him but he claims to merely be a 146-year old fairy dragon. Arthur cooks some shit food and we go to bed.
- In the morning, Niamh summons Peaches again.
- Asterias and Vylna arrive shortly thereafter. Vylna points out that our plan may involve killing Vermeer and that we probably don't want this. We decide to ask the wizard in the old tower (who we have, until now, completely forgotten about), to finish the runic key.
Travel 31/5/1436
Chewinga- We're riding back to Rootsreach and we encounter Chwinga. As we were making camp, we encountered some absolutely kawaii Chwinga, they imitated us, then led us to a clearing where we saw a load of rocks. We filled in a hole with a rock and they blessed us; they are very nice.
- Arthur was blessed with a giantsbane weapon so we decided to go kill a cyclops. We went to the mountains and found a child cyclops in a cave. We were ethically uncomfortable with child-murder so we looked for a parent. We climbed above the cave and fortunately discovered daddy cyclops dragging a corpse and two people; the remnants of a family. Shard shot combined with giantsbane was appallingly effective, and we killed it in 3 rounds. Gek and Niamh did a total of 24 damage, and Arthur did 114.
- We extracted its eye, while its child watching on in horror.
Sesssion 18: The Battle for Black Pearl Keep
14-15/6/1436
Blackpearl Keep 14/6/1436
Fight- Info forgotten to say last session before we say the frost giants for the first time: Immediately to the right and a bit back form the main door of the keep there's two cellar doors, one is open and the other is splintered, big bolder planted in the stairway leading down, there's a flickering light (torchlight probably) coming from below, probably something is down there and not moving or something goes down there enough for a torch to be left lighting
- Dragon that we thought was dead that was impaled and encased in crystal moves its eyes- we said to the archfey to "deal with" the dragons so it's not actually dead, he is specifically watching Gek
- Arthur and Niamh try to help Liang (liutenant of the 1st aerial company), she has lost an arm and leg, stable now, not waking up, we carry her on a makeshift stretcher through the tunnels
- Demeter is here lolololololololol, her sword is covered in black carved skulls, two have glowing red eyes, she steps out of the sewers, she caresses part of the crystal that encases the dragon, she points and a people rush past us towards her and surrounding the dragon and draw small magic circles
- Demeter has as the eye of Vecna in her eye socket- it is insectoid and much larger than the normal eye
- The cultists are not human or anything else, grey ashy skin, eyes are dark and massive pupils, not used to being in sunlight, Niamh offers one of them a red coin, he starts to puzzingly reach out for it and Demeter is suddenly behind Niamh and smashes his hand, Demeter walks towards the lieutenant on the stretcher
- Arthur goes to stop Niamh from doing more bad things, and Gek starts annoying Demeter and walking with her as she continues going down the corridor and Vordokov is there, he shakes hands with Demeter, Demeter is the reason most of his people are alive
- We (Demeter, cultists, the god guys) start leaving and as we walk, we hear the rattling of chains from where we came from
- We're at a military encampment that was set up, Niamh follows Demeter into a big tent with a massive map with coastline and a city in the middle, Demeter opens another map or this area with lots of Xs on it, Niamh asks what she can do to get her to acknowledge and talk to her, Niamh hears a voice with two voices layered on top of each other in her head, Demeter asks Niamh if she knows where the Pegasus or Unicorn are, Niamh says she doesn't know, Niamh asks if Demeter still loves her she replies that she doesn't know who she is, "what is your name", "I don't have one yet" "I'm something of a daughter to you", silence from Demeter
- Tents are made with wood that is grey and ashen, most of the encampment seems to be the cultists' stuff, the resources used in the camp are all quite alien
- There are catacombs and cellars under the keep with wine and stuff
- Vordokov says that the Ultra-Extra-Fucking Awful Paralysis Poison would probably
Camp 15/6/1436
- Titus (ambassador) comes with goblin slaves and two dragon penetrating arrows that Vordokov would prefer to not use if possible
- Sylac says that the purple crystals might let the Crystal Prince spy on us, Sylac had given the crystal princes favour to us which is the highest of rude so he extra super hates Sylac and kinda also hates us too
- Liang is awake, she's very nice and epic, Gek sees her crying as he leaves Big Fight
- in the keep- hear hob goblins talking- ambush, survive, worry, Ralken League
- We fight all the scary things and the dragon and Kugnarz flew up onto the roof
- Demeter shows up and teleports us up to the roof and she ends up getting the final blow and one of the skulls on her scary sword start to glow- she absorbed something from the dragon
Session 15: The Hunt Begins
3-12/6/1436
Racist Village (Enyenthyr) 3/6/1436
- After Gek murdered an innocent, we make our way back to Enyenthyr. Well into the evening, it starts raining and Gek wakes up. We talk about the coin and Arthur recognises it as Murgo gold (red gold don't really know anything else). Arthur succeeds on a wisdom save and nothing really happens. Arthur talks to Gek about what happened, says it's not his fault (though Niamh disagrees).
- We eventually arrive at the village near dusk and circle around to the pigpen. The man who survived leaves without a care in the world and we realise he's a cunt.
- We arrive at the pigpen to see that Vylna has arrived - thank fuck. None of them have died in the interim. Niamh hugs Vylna but their antlers clash and get kinda stuck. It takes a minute to get them unstuck and Niamh blushes - BECAUSE SHE HAS A CRUSH ON VYLNA. It's super cute.
- Vylna asks us about a vial full of screams from the Hag. She breaks it and the souls are sent on by the Archfey. She sets a watch over us for the night but says we should leave before the racists get angry at us.
- She gives us a pouch from the Drukharii ambassador (Titus Scipio)and says that she couldn't be fucked to remember the message to go with it. We figure out it's a diplomat's pouch when he sends us a letter. He doesn't mind us being late because it's given him time to go ask for help in Silserion. Sky Commander Vorkdokov, First Aerial Company, Izzet's First Legion. His request is kinda complicated but he's been sent to investigate us.
- We awkwardly compose a reply; we're sorry for the delay, we're bringing some people back to Rootsreach with us and we're interested in doing stuff for Izzet. He says that they're due to arrive by the week's end which is about the same time as us.
Travel 4-12/6/1436
- The morning after we prepare to leave. Meredith (the old woman) rides and the others take turns riding the other horse or the Niamh-Deer. We soon run into a trio of Basilisks, which thanks to fortuitous sleet-magic are really easy to kill. We get one intact Basilisk Gullet and some eggs. While Arthur was harvesting the gullet he sees a weird red thing in the trees.
- We manage to get back to Rootsreach without much further trouble.
Session 14: Fruition
2-3/6/1436
Racist Village (Enyenthyr) 2-3/6/1436
Hag Hut- Potions: supreme healing (10d4+20), animal friendship (can cast the spell as many times as you want for an hour), firebreath (3x use, 4d6 fire), philter of love (tricks someone to fall in love with the first person they see for like an hour or something) Material: two big eyes that face towards each other not from the same creature draconic
- Paintings: 4 small paintings (2 landscapes, 1 horse, 1 Skeggar isles landscape), 1 massive painting way more expensive painting of the princess Irulan of the Thylevell Dynasty its probably the painting that went missing ages ago- minimum 100 sovereigns, 2 small statues man and woman probably religious
- Gems: 2 alexandrite, 3 aquamarines, 3 black pearls, 3 blue spinals (often found near coastlines, rare, used for cults as objects of worship for deities eg. Dagon- king of the deep ones), 3 peridots
- Got a fancy epic rod
- Thuridan- elf who went to find the hag to get the heartstone to save people in the village, we made him not die
- Ingredients- head of viper snake with white glazed over eyes, spherical flask with wind moving around inside faint screaming, small jar of black pudding, small cage with a massive slug that leaves behind thick ooze (ew)
- Healing potion- blood, fancy ones need crushed rubies, plants as catalysts, supreme- a petal of a revival/reunion lily which grow on graves
- Potion making- snake head and ankheg dust into hag cauldron- thick red opaque liquid, deep green smoke that carries traces of the ankheg dust, both produce similar effect of messing up blood flow so it's a hyper strong potion, venom- immobilising target, sneezing- stops your heart temporarily, 1 use potion
- Thuridan wakes up, is confused, wants the heartstone, explain that's not possible, he cast mage hand in a way that makes him a sorcerer
- We get our horses back
- Overturned cart with smoke and blood, dead horses, no humans, same Demeter dudes situations, two cultists are by Demeter and hover off the ground and have more ornate gold trim, Demeter has a red drake, drakes sometimes breathe fire but they're very rare
- Demeter tells Gek to come and compels him to go towards her, Arthur picks up Gek as he runs and Gek attacks Arthur with thunderwave so he can break free, it kills the innocent woman, Arthur knocks Gek unconscious
- All the cultists bow in our direction as we ride away
Session 12: Hidden Below
30/5/1436
The Grove 30/5/1436
- It's a ruined village, on the outskirts of Crete- the ruined city
- Niamh is crying at Demeter's grave, the ground starts shifting and presses into her hands, a vine grows up and circles her arms without touching her but then clutches her and gets imbedded with thorns and the thorns start sinking deep into skin and skin closes up
- Niamh sends a message through the trees to try and get help
- Detect Magic- makes her gag with the amount of magic around, her hands glow from the thorns and from where the vines wrapped around her, it seems to be in a dormant state
- Manhole cover in one of the houses, massive hole in the ground, ladder on the side, not rusty, at the bottom there's clean stone with curved sides about 30ft down, long tunnel at the bottom, they are sewers, the walls are wet but no plants or moss, its very clean
- walk down the shorter tunnel to a room, sword hilt floating in the middle of the room, it's embedded in a 10ft wide gelatinous cube, defeat cube and other grey slime, Arthur gets the magic shard sword
- in a dirty area of the sewers, black substance bulging and moving like something inside is trying to get out, rolls up the wall super fast and pseudopod peaches, there is a humanoid form on the floor, person on the floor don't recognise the armour
Session 11: Preparations
26-30/5/1436
Rootsreach 26-27/5/1436
- Maerel chuckles to herself when she thinks no one's looking
- Sylac- Asterius was upset about the fact that Demeter had hired people and taking bodies, Asterius wants to see us, Sylac doesn't think there's anything we can do about it, random lightning strikes have been happening in the forest around the grove and south-west, strike every three or four days and animals go missing, trogladites build tunnels and make it that the Yggdrasil tree cant soak up the moisture so the moisture builds up and makes the swamp expand
- Arkax commissioned solid blocks of steel in the shape of armour, probably for a golem, there's also a gem set into a pendant, seems magical, it's called a shield guardian, they are magical and can store spells. very combat based
- they underestimated how many people signed up, they need more airships, sending more people, have one to two months until they leave, suggesting to set fire to the methane in the tunnels so drive them out, the brown mould will be transported to be at an entrance so that the fire doesn't spread or something, the ambassador will look for entrances on his wyvern, busy ourselves for a week
- The Slaad were created by the god of order when he wanted to impose order on chaos ie. Limbo
- Got super scared when he heard the Slaad hide is from Limbo
- wants us to go get ingredients for potions, lightening been happening at distinct intervals, they happen once every two and a half days, no storms happening in the evening, no fires as a result of the lightening
- City to the west blocked by a mountain range, in the mountain range lakes of lava, fire snakes, have a unique tongue, cool magic antlers, cyclops eye (they are dangerous)
- Sylac and Daniel have different time frames for the lightening
- Her birds told her that we have been in and out of Rootsreach
- Nearly cant tell what the feather is, doesn't look like a bird feather, most birds can see more colours so the feathers have colours humans can't see but this feather doesn't have any of them (she's an elf so she can tell), she doesn't know any other creatures that have feathers, heard tell of lizards with feathers aeons go that would now be extinct or evolved past that, might be on Chult,
- The door has been opened recently because the mould that was charred would already have grown back, might be a door to Chult and would explain how Kal got back and forth and why it's been opened, so either the Dragon is on Chult or some other plane that hasn't been touched in ages with extinct creates when the dragon went to rest
- Arkax seems like he wants to give life for Clarance (shield guardian)
- Wants to talk to Sylac and will while we're on our week trip
- Deposit of 20 crowns for two horses that we'll get back if we bring the horses back
Travel 28-30/5/1436
- Sylac gives us one of his scales that if we put on the floor he'll come
- Lightning strikes quite close to us, we go towards where we heard it, horse lying on the floor with broken leg close to where the lightning struck, there's no fire, horses body gets dragged along the floor but didn't see what gets dragged, the horse stops getting dragged and wakes up and starts frantically kicking at something even though one leg is shattered, a patch of charred grass probably where the lightning struck, it was a vines monster (shambling mound), someone shoots its heart with a bow and arrow to kill it fully, it heals with lightning, there's a displacer beast and an Unseelie Fae, they released lightening to create the shambling mound as a hunting game, there's three of them playing the hunting game, he's ok with humans getting killed by the shambling mounds
Session 6: An Old Friend

Rootsreach 16/5/1436
- Black silhouette fying in the sky, seems very big, flying towards Rootsreach- likely a Drukarian embassador riding on a Wyvern taking refuge
- Trogladites don't live in clean caves so they must have just appeared
- Niamh jerks as an antler is snapped in the distance
- Church is also a small hospital
- Cliff faces deep in the forest, ruined building like a church, corpses hanging from the trees, wall behind alter well kept, green glow from pool with figure hunched over and kneeling beside it,the spell is forced closed and you are thrown back, he didn't want us to watch
- Chult- an old myth, deep in the jungle peninsula, beasts that have been extint for eons still live there, explorers often don't return in fact nobody gets there as there is a massive sea creature guarding the landmass, ancient civilisations long riuined that may still survive there, once grand empires that rose and fell before human existed, tribes mostly of lizardfolk that have no concept of empathy, empires with horrid dark rituals and sacrifices, no more humanoid but snakes, not a place you want to be if you want to stay alive
Session 10: Questions Unanswered
21-26/5/1436.
Dullmans Rest 21-22/5/1436
- Vermeer has human insides that heal like a slaad
- Cave by the Slaad footprints coming out of it- wet cave, goes down to a big cave with a massive wall and a big crack that might be two doors
- During the night Vermeer bolts awake, he is very confused, recognises Niamh but doesn't remember anything since he talked to Demeter about a month before he got slashed when she mentioned going on an adventure
- Arthur explain what tact is to Gek but all he understands is he has to be nice
- Niamh has a really emotional talk with Vermeer and gives him a note saying she loves him in case he forgets again
- Vermeer touches the rock key and he drops it because it gets really hot and transforms into Kalgakeths mind
- Kalgaketh says Vermeer is dead, he says no to getting out of Vermeer's mind, he says this body is not Vermeers body because he's dead but then says he guesses it technically is Vermeers body
- Niamh punches him for saying her mom turns into a corpse and it hurts Niamh a lot and doesn't phase him at all
- Kal is hunting down to kill Demeter for no particular reason other than he wants to, there wasn't a reason why he chose Vermeer he just felt like it, he didn't exist before he existed in Vermeer
- The Slaads listen to him and seem similar to him, one of them is the reason he exists, he can transform into a green Slaad, the blue Slaad (wolverine) make red slaad, red slaad make the blue slaad, rarely the blue slaad make a green Slaad randomly, green Slaad are rare and that's why Kalgaketh is important and why the Slaad listen to him
- He doesn't know what the stone is or what it does, Arthur made a deal that Kal will wait until we find out what the stone does before he destroys it and that for that we wont ever use it on him
- he was referring to himself with the "we" so if he finds out what it does before we do he can destroy it without warning us
- He might tell us why he is a green slaad if we tell him about the stone
- He's the one killing all the adventurers to turn them into Slaad
- His magic is from limbo, he is made of limbo, Geks sorcery uses limbo
- Kal can come back if he wants to
- He doesn't eat, only consumes matter into his body
- Indents like carvings on the arch of doorway, Niamh writes down the inscriptions onto a page- its draconic so ask Arkax to translate, there's a verb to open, a name that doesn't seem draconic
- Scorched black moss that is burned at the base of the door, not the green dragon because they breathe poison, red and gold breathe fire
- Feather on the floor- red blue and yellow patterned, quite long body feather, the feather is not from a bird from this region

Library- Stone key- dimensional portal keys made of runes, ritual magic items can be enchanted, used to make pocket dimensions, transport things between locations eg planes, nothing written about souls, making one is very complex, keys are linked to certain things and can't be changed once linked, two parts needed- linking of the key and the lock, basic magic responsible for opening and closing the portal
- Stone- one of the linking glyphs that is common to most linking spells "to" is there, so the linking part of the glyphs says "blank to blank" if we figure out the blanks we can figure out where the stone is linked to
- Runes on rock- find primordial runes that are similar to the middle glyph meaning "to" can now figure out the rest, Telllus is linked to a plane of existence which looks like a lesser plane and looks like it links to limbo- book says not to open a portal to this plane because magic is a bitch there, home of wild magic (Gek), where bad things happen

- Draconic writing over the door in the cave- must be old, door connects to Thordak the Lavalord, might not be working if it's on a door because its soo old but is impressed it was transcribed so well
- Thordak the Lavalord- red ancient dragon, very famous and known by everyone, his blood is lava and sets things on fire by standing near them, fairytales vary on him being good or bad depending on who tells the story, oldest of the red dragons left on the material plane but he has been gone for centuries, he was favourable to mortals at one time, he has to rest from a battle, he was betrayed by mortals
- Arkax is good at abjuration magic ie defence magic
- Arkax puts a nondetection and Nystul Magic Aura around the stone so no one can scry the stone but even if they did breakthrough that they will see something completely different
- Arkax said he has mouths to feed when asked about prices and Savel/Maerel said he has hiked up his prices recently, when asked if he has children he lies when he says he's feeding himself and Mortimer (his bat pet) not children, he might not have children but he is hiding something
- The Slaad hide is worth about 4800 crowns in all
- Stone- smells a scent that reminds him of Gek ie. smells of limbo like Gek's magic
- Can advise us to go to Silserion to meet with masters and specialists to look at the stone

Session 9: Mystery in Daylight

- Coin pouch- Red coins with the sigil of Orcus that were given to Niamh by Demeter, piece of paper, Demeter cultists don't know what the coins are they say only "The Queen" knows what thhey are
- Other people don't know what the Slaad(we still don't know they're called Slaad) is either
- trogladites seem dumb but when comanded by slad they are more intelligent, slaad are more intelligent, they haven't kidnapped anyone who was meant to arrive somewhere ie. no deliveries were missed, they target people who won't be missed, maybe Dullmans rest hasn't been atacked but people coming and going, maybe Demeter sparked the attack- when Roan was Demeter Vermeer attacked her
- Viper people say they were sent because adventurers were going missing and they are after humans (not Demeters evil people)
- Adventurers have been scarce around these parts
- trying to skin the Slaad to get cool armour but when it opens, a soccar ball sized lump of flesh comes out and turns to solid, dust and water, boil turn to gas, they have what seem to be no organs, their insides are everchanging, bit of blood goes different colours but doesn't change and stay as blood
- Niamh asks what the cultists believe in, they are followers of the will of Demeter Taron, he's not at liberty to say who Demeter follows orders from ect, She's called the Queen of Blades
- Niamh goes to get food and sees Vermeer on the opposite side of the river,calm expression, faint smile as Niamh asked if they sent the monsters to kill her and he looks into the trees behind her, he says "of course" when asked if he remembers her, he says he doesn't know what Niamh is talking about and doesn't remember what he was scratched by, his eyes glaze over and he starts blanking and his head hangs, tears start pouring out of his eyes but his face remain expressionless and says "why is this happening?", he disappears
- Gunther was passing through blackwater farms from shalon to rootsreach to repair his armour when he was attacked
- there were four sets of slaad footprints but we only killed three slaads, one set walk along the treeline and meet up at a ford, there's no human footprints from Vermeer, at the river where Niamh saw Vermeer there is a set of human footprints and directly behind there's a set of Slaad footprints right behind- Niamh didn't see a Slaad behind Vermeer, there's a branch that's fluttering but there's no wind, it's probably Vermeer but he's invisible, we fight him he runs away and says "why?" a couple of times, bush wih embers, Vermeer is not sure where he is, he's sitting in a tree, shoulder split open and then heals itself, he fires a firebolt at Niamh and disapeares from the treeline, he appears face down on the floor in front of Niamh, seems unconscious, the voice in her head still works, doesn't rememebre if he's her father, doesn't know where he is, asked why this is happening to us, "pocket, stone, please""take it, take me please", stone has circle of runes, super complicated, not finished, not the same as the one in the tent with the teleportation, do you remember your wife's neame? "not anymore", why didht the slaads kill you "I don't know if they did", he said Niamhs name earlier but now forgot but is able to repeat it after she says it, what is my relationship to you? "love", hwat's your name? Session 5: Battle Toads

- The Slaad regenerated himself almost identically to the Vermeer who we chopped it's arm off
- Scream in the cave again
- Small pile of leathers like cloak, fine a spear, two small pouches with 7 gemstones- opaque light pink, blue quartz, eyeagate, malachite, small pouch of super fine red sand
- Trogladites try and keep Arthur alive when they attack
- Brown mold gets in contact with fire it expands massively and makes people take a fuck ton of damage, the mold absorbs all the heat and water starts to frost over
- Slaad but not red goes into the cave after we came out of it
Travel 12-15/5/1436
- Two men/ bandits dragging bodies from a cart into the woods
- Demeter speaks to Gek in his mind and convinces him to help the bandits drag the bodies
- A child that was killed has Demeter's shield
- Demeter shows up from behind a tree and makes her, the men and the bodies disappear
- Demeter's antlers have been snapped off what looks like they were snapped off by handand she has a longsword which is black and very scary it has skulls on the hilt and pommel, the skulls have orbs in their mouths, one skull has a glowing red orb, we have one of Demeter's eyes but now she has two eyes again, one is slightly yellow and looks slightly too big
- Metallic crimson red coin appears in Geks hand with the sigil (discord) of Orcus (demon lord of death) on it
- Shylac brings a letter to Asterius

Session 8: Blackwater Farms

Travel 17-19/5/1436
Blackwater Farms- Marsh has sunk a couple of houses, eerily silent, sinkhole in corner of building, purposly made- there is a tunnel inside the wall heading East towards the mountains, maybe made by the Trogladites and purposely caved in so the tunnel can't be seen
- Leather armour had been ripped off a person and a pierced hole in the chest looks like from a spear, snapped sword, no acid damage (not an Ankheg), letter soaked in water so illegible, all metal has been ripped away and taken
- Barn with a couple of ripped open barrels either with rotten food or nothing inside, dagger- has trogladite blood on it from over a few days and less than a few weeks ago, hole in wall that goes outside looks like they ran through the wall, leads to prints that look like footprints with armour on them- either fullplate or halfplate, they come from the windmill go into the house and then leave through the hole in the wall
- This place had been fully abandoned before the trogladites were here, someone came here since then and had an encounter with trogladites
- When the prints go into the treeline they drastically swerve and start picking up speed into a run, spear jammed into a tree looks like a trogladite spear- trogladite would have gotten the spear back so either died, had to keep running and no time to get it or gave up early for some other reason
- The prints join to the road not running anymore, prints are hard to follow now, tracks leave the road- we're going to Dullman's Rest- small fort made by adventure used as communal place of rest
Dullman's Rest 19-20/5/1436
- Gunther Whitebeard- Dwarf in fullplate armour, likely the man whose tracks we had been following, fully asleep
- Group of people have the Ralken League sigil on their cloaks, Viper Brotherhood (their company name or something), told us the Dwarf's friend died, the elf recognises the spear from the tree was made by a blacksmith from Shelon, they're investigating chanting coming from the forest perhaps a cult, Otar legend- half dragon terrorising the place
- 12 people in black robes come in wearing cloaks and hoods covering their faces, gilded trim on the cloaks, identical to the people who Demeter had hired to collect bodies ect.
- Loud thudding footsteps coming from the distance, Vermeer is here, Red Slaad next to him, Vermeers jaw hinges open more than is should and sorta croaks and then the Slaad starts spriting towards us, Vermeer disappears
- As the Demeter cultists get killed by the Slaad they are smiling and laughing, two spellcasting cult dudes, one has a white masks and says "The honour of Dullman's Rest shall be upheld, your blood shall not be spilled today" then enters his tent and doesn't help, he uses a black and purple scythe as his spiritual weapon

- Niamh asks if she can talk to Demeter- "your connection to her no longer matters, the Queen of Blades has protected you" they are her retainers and lowly servants, they gave Niamh a bag of coins from Demeter as a gift

Climbing through cave Cavern:- Trogladites and massive frog monster (Slaad) in cave, Arthur is 100% certain the massive frog is not a creature or beast he's seen/ heard of before
- Skunk smells paralyses them for a short bit as it overwhelms their senses but then they get used to it
- Trogladites communicate by secreting smell
- Trogladite warriors have spears, shamen are long arm scary Trogladites, massive red Slaad
- Two travellor Elves are terrified and not paying attention to anything apart from another Elven man who has a massive gash down him and is slumped in the corner
- Slaad points at one of the terrified elves, slummped Elves rib bends and cracks out of place lump in chest pushing against skin, red slaad claws the Elf he was pointing at so presumably caused whatever happened to the Elf on the floor

Creature-The fireball the creature did was either an illusion or an inate ability of a creature- it wasn't actually fireball because it wasn't big enough and was bigger than firebolt, might be a troll but trolls hate fire, might be a gold dragon because they can shapeshift, gold dragons are usually good so maybe not but might be controlled, would have to be an adult or ancient dragon to be able to shapeshift, nothing else comes to mind, might be an Oni but something else mght have given it an ability to do the fire. We walk outside and Demeter's husband immediately chucks a fireball at us Demeter divine sense- not a demon, not an angel, not a fiend, but also not good i.e. he is a neutral creature His shoulder gets chopped off and grows back, he goes invisible and runs away, blood on the floor looks like human blood and then it disappears into ash and blows away Shopping:- Casper van Ginneken- need to get rare materials so he can make cool armour for Demeter: adamantine, dragon scales, a boy is sad he can't enchant a battle axe, Gek tries to enchant it, there's a white gem in the centre of -the battleaxe now, it grows 8 inches bigger, we bought it for 100 Crowns
