The Crown's Guard

Overall there are nearly 100 guards looking after the King/Queen of House StormClaw at any given time. However, there are always 10 Knights who lead the guards and act as the King/Queen's Person body guard. The only requirements to be in the Crown's guard are to be a knight, and be chosen by the ruling StormClaw

Structure

The leader of the Crown's Guard directly answers to the ruling StormClaw, and on ocasion is known to be a part of their council. The Master-at-arms is responsible for training any new guards and mainting the castle's defences  The Schedule Master is responsible for making sure the ruling stormClaw is being guarded at all times, as well as organizing patrols The Royal Headsman is responsible for preforming executions and mainting the dungeons The other 6 Knights answer to these 4 senior knights

History

When first formed in 9 ASC the Crown's Guard was made of 9 masters of a different weapon lead by a captain who was a master of all of them, while not an offical rule this tradition is attempted to be followed even when it means a member not weilding their most proficent tool.
