The oldest child of Lord Gulbraithe Barranzo, Daemyon grew up a pampered little Lord, always keenly aware of his duty to one day rule the Hedge. Growing up, his singular focus on duty effected his ability to develop relationships and his lack of Social skills are obvious to this day. At 14 the politically ambitious Daemyon arranged his own betorthal pact where he swore to wed Siraxes Sergente (who was known for being ugly even for Dragonborn standards). Daemyon did his duty and sired 2 children before Siraxes died giving birth to the third. Daemyon did not pubically mourn, nor did he ever arrange another marriage for himself, leading many to wonder what the Lord's true feelings on his wife were.

The first time Daemyon had to go to the capital with his father he was terrified. He was always socially awkward, the only way he managed to make it through the galas and feasts was with the help of Armanda Elksin, Daughter of Lord Elias Elksin, the to became very close friends exchanging letters and always sitting together at public events.
