Elf

Elves in the Stormclaw Empire are a minority, known for their long lifespans, grace, and connection to nature and magic. They make up a significant portion of the population in the Noureen Wood, where many still cling to the ancient fae traditions that define their culture, though they have also spread throughout other regions of the empire. Most elves are skilled in arts, craftsmanship, and magic, though their practices have often been suppressed by the empire's more stringent laws against non-holy magic. Despite facing discrimination and challenges in adapting to the empire’s human-dominated society, elves have managed to carve out influential roles, serving as advisors, scholars, and even warriors. They are both admired for their wisdom and beauty and resented for their aloofness and adherence to old traditions, making their place in the empire complex and often fraught with tension.
