Numitor
Capitol planet of the Galactic Coalition of Worlds.
If there was ever a postcard planet, Numitor is that. Numitor is a small, mostly uninhabited, M type planet filled with idyllic vistas to delight the eye. There are only two cities on the planet. One on each of the two continents.
The Capitol (yes, they named it “The Capitol”) was founded when Numitor was selected to be the location of the government for the Coalition.
Rhea, on the second continent, is a vacation spot. Used by off-planet visitors, and government officials who need a break from the strain of running a giant galactic government. Rhea is also the only spaceport on Numitor
The Capitol has a high security level. Any unauthorized entrance to the airspace of The Capitol will cause a massive militarized response. Rhea has a much more relaxed security profile. As a result, many clandestine meetings involving controversial government actions tend to happen in Rhea.
Numitor is protected by five state of the art orbital defense stations as well as a number of Coalition starships that may be present at any given time.
Numitor’s Fold Beacon system is housed beneath The Capitol
