Ahzuuri Concordancy

The star systems under the control of the Ahzuur were known as the Ahzuuri Concordancy.   The Ahzuuri originated in the Tok System.   In the year 800 RE, as humanity marks time, first contact between the Ahzuuri and the Coalition was made. The GCS Longstrider, an exploration starship, exited Fold-Space into a system previously unknown to humanity, but unfortunately not uninhabited. The Ahzuur quickly destroyed the GCS Longstrider. A month after the destruction of the Longstrider, a Fold Beacon activated in the system of it's loss. The beacon broadcast a message of warning: "The Tok System belongs to the Ahzuuri. All trespassers will be destroyed." The Coalition, in it's arrogance, sent the battle-cruiser GCS Arbiter to the Tok system to seek justice for it's slain citizens. It too was summarily destroyed. The Tok system was then declared off limits by the Coalition.   Twenty years later, a request for parley came to the Coalition from the Ravbin System. The Ahzuur were back, and no longer limited to their home system. When the Coalition went to Ravbin to negotiate with the Ahzuur, the conversation was mostly one sided. The Ahzuur, in lithe, agile fold-ships which clearly outclassed the coalition's ships, made demands that the Coalition had no choice but to accept. Tok and two other previously unknown systems were declared off limits to all non-Ahzuur under penalty of death. The Ravbin system, and specifically the planet Stone, would be a place of cultural exchange, where all who are respectful will be welcome to learn from the Ahzuuri what they were willing to teach. The Ahzuur vowed to not destroy the vessels of others that they came across outside of their territories. And said they would place Fold-Beacons in any unoccupied system they claimed to prevent conflict, even though they declared they have no need for such primitive technology.   Over the two centuries since, conflicts between the Coalition and the Ahzuur have been many. Often deadly, but thankfully brief and limited in scope. There was no love lost between these two galactic powers. The Coalition diplomats assigned to Stone always seemed to have a new crisis to sort out with the Azuur.   In 1025 RE, Admiral Harriman of the Star Watch completed his takeover of the Galactic Coalition of Worlds and declared himself emperor.  He then turned his attention to the Ahzuuri Concordancy. With the might of his Huon armada, he made short work of the Ahzuur forces and absorbed the former Concordancy into his Empire.
