Hangar 227 Underground Base

Beneath Hangar 227, buried deep in New Hampshire granite, the Superhuman Task Force (STF) operations center hums with relentless activity. Originally a Cold War bunker, the facility now serves as the nerve center for monitoring and containing superhuman threats. This isn’t just a command post—it’s a war room. It is stockpiled with enough food to support a full complement of personnel for months—including potential babies—and can recycle air, water, and generate electricity and heat via geothermal energy.

Design & Layout

  • The operations center sprawls across a massive underground chamber, reinforced with steel and concrete to withstand direct aerial strikes.
  • A sunken command platform sits at the heart of the room, encircled by tiered rows of workstations where STF operatives monitor live data streams.
  • Floor-to-ceiling tactical displays dominate the walls, cycling through real-time satellite feeds, mission briefings, and orgone energy fluctuations.
  • Secure server banks and AI-assisted data analysis terminals feed intelligence directly to field agents, tracking every known superhuman on the planet.
  • Access is highly restricted—multiple blast doors, biometric scanners, and armed guards ensure only authorized personnel enter.

Technology & Equipment

  • Real-Time Satellite Tracking – STF operates its own geo-synchronous satellites, locking onto superhuman energy signatures and Order-related activity.
  • Orgone Energy Detectors – Sensitive orgone scanners identify anomalous energy spikes, the key to tracking Victor Kraze and potential new superhumans.
  • Encrypted Communications Hub – Military-grade transmissions link STF to the Pentagon, DHS, and global security agencies.
  • Rapid Deployment Readiness – The ops center manages stealth VTOL transport coordination, ensuring Guardian teams can be deployed at a moment’s notice.

Atmosphere & Personnel

  • The room never sleeps. Teams rotate through shifts, ensuring continuous global surveillance.
  • Analysts and mission coordinators move with precision, voices clipped and efficient as they process new intel.
  • Tension crackles in the air. Every blip on the screen could mean another disaster, another superhuman event spiraling out of control.
  • At the head of it all stands Director Potter, sharp-eyed and unyielding, commanding the floor with military precision and zero tolerance for failure.

Architecture

What the military had built underneath the old, abandoned Pan Am hangar rivals some of the best special effects in modern movies and television shows, specifically that of what Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. could build.
