Doctor Hao Wong

Background:
Doctor Hao Wong was born in Communist China during a time of political and technological suppression that stifled his brilliance. From a young age, Wong harbored a fierce hatred for the restrictions imposed by the communist regime, and this fueled his ambition to embrace capitalism’s greed and unrestrained power. In the mid-1960s, Wong managed to defect to Hong Kong, where he offered his super-genius intellect to the highest bidders, establishing himself as a pioneer in cutting-edge, albeit morally dubious, technologies.
His rise in Hong Kong’s scientific community was meteoric. Wong's innovative mind caught the attention of wealthy criminal organizations, but it was his meeting with Doctor M that changed his trajectory forever. Doctor M invited Wong to become a co-founder of New Libertalia, a secret nation built by and for super-villains, a place where Wong's genius would flourish without moral or legal constraints. Wong accepted, and through his genius and ruthless ambition, he became one of the founding mad scientists of New Libertalia, gaining immense power and influence.
Throughout his career, Doctor Wong established himself as the greatest adversary of Wright Tech, a leading technology company. His rivalry with Wright Tech is infamous, fueled by theft, industrial sabotage, and the creation of inferior but profitable knock-offs under his own company, Wong Outfitters. Though often mockingly referred to as "Doctor Wrong" by his enemies, the damage he inflicted on Wright Tech and his constant battle with its heroes cemented his legacy as a highly dangerous supervillain.
After the death of Doctor M, much of New Libertalia’s technological infrastructure came under Wong's control, making him the leading authority on cybernetics, robotics, and super-science in the villainous nation. He has used his brilliance to develop methods of immortality, continuously upgrading his own body with cybernetics and gene-splicing, ensuring that he remains one of the most feared individuals in the world.
  Personality:
Doctor Hao Wong is the embodiment of unrestrained ambition and greed. His defection from communist China to embrace capitalism was driven by a desire for personal power, wealth, and recognition. He views the scientific world as a game in which only the most ruthless and innovative minds should triumph, and he sees himself as one of the greatest players.
Wong is driven by an obsessive need to prove his superiority over others, especially his rivals at Wright Tech. His personal grudge against the company and its founders fuels much of his villainous activity, as he seeks not only to outperform them scientifically but to destroy them completely.
Despite his often mocking nickname "Doctor Wrong," Wong's brilliance and cold, calculating nature make him a respected and feared figure in both villainous and heroic circles. He has no qualms about using morally dubious methods to achieve his goals, viewing human life and ethics as obstacles in the way of progress.
Wong is deeply pragmatic, focusing solely on what benefits him. His need for control and superiority means he rarely forms genuine alliances and is always prepared for betrayal. While his peers may view him as untrustworthy, they also recognize that his genius and ambition make him an essential asset to New Libertalia.
