With the gathering of the first substantial amount of Mithril Ore production of the steel plates that will make up the Skyship’s first balloon will commence. The Mithril ore will be broken into gravel by members of the tribe then water sifted to make the ore purer. The mithril ore will be melted down in the blast furnace using charcoal made from the kilns as fuel. The blast furnace will melt the mithril ore and then it will come out near the bottom into square sand-cast on the ground where it will cool into a square sheet of mithril metal. Then it will be set aside to be tempered into shape later. Parts from the ship the tribe buys at the auction will be brought to the camp and stored for later. Extra wood from the superstructure of the ship will be used as fuel for the furnace.

Major Goals

• Enough Mithril Ore to complete one full balloon and start on the next will be obtained.

• Half of the rigging ropes, canvas, and other ship bits that are needed will be gained.

Builders: 4. A minimum of four dedicated builders will be needed for building projects around the airship construction. First the making of a clay pit and then the shaping of many clay bricks will be the first task needed to be completed. After few batches of the bricks are hardened by being fired in the Kilns they will be used to build the blast furnace and base blocks for the skyship. They will also help build the crane after the furnace is completed.

Kiln Builders: 2. Kilns are basically big earthen ovens that must be destroyed and reconstructed after every use. The kiln builders will build the kilns during the day stacking earth and clay around the materials that will be fired whether that be bricks for hardening or wood for making charcoal. After being fired the builders will tear down the kilns and retrieve the resources within. Then they will repeat the process.

Kiln Watcher: 1. As the Kilns burn through the night they must be watched at all times so they don’t burn too hot or go out. The kiln watcher must take the boring and tiresome task of watching them through the night.
