Kepler-62d is a terraformed world, with a breathable atmosphere and a vibrant biosphere. It is the most inhabited planet in the system, home to multiple megacities, corporate colonies, and research stations. The planet was one of the earliest targets for terraforming efforts by Arcane Biotech, who now control large swathes of its surface. Despite its success as a terraformed colony, eldritch anomalies have been known to distort the planet’s magnetic field, causing strange weather patterns and occasional psychic phenomena among the population.

StellarEx Corp, Arcane Biotech, Nihiltech Corporation, and AetherTech Solutions have established major hubs here, and the planet serves as a key trading and logistical center for the system.

Geography

Kepler-62d features vast plains, mountain ranges, and forests, with large oceans covering about half of the planet’s surface. The Northern Continent is home to most of the planet’s cities and industrial centers, while the Southern Archipelago is known for its unexplained phenomena.
